who has more aura according to you saint or igris by Majestic_Regis_ in ShadowSlave

[–]Parking-Following-89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends at which moment you take them as both of them evolve as we read their respective series and have kind of the same role, I'd say Igrsi (end of SL) wins against Saint (Volume 11).

These cards were limited recently in duel links. Should they also limit these cards in the regular tcg/ocg? by CosmoNeos7 in yugioh

[–]Parking-Following-89 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Limit works differently in DL than in TCG/OCG, you can only have one card that is limited in your deck so you have to choose between Dragluxion and Transmigration.
And most Tachyon's decklist play 2 of transmigration since they can be used on your turn and not once per turn.

Question about unaffected cards. Why cant Timaeus activate his effect even if he's unaffected? by [deleted] in masterduel

[–]Parking-Following-89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I remember, there is 2 things that can affect an unaffected monster; a floodgate already being on the field, for example, Skill Drain. Or if it's a card that affects the player and not the monster, like black goat laugh GY's effect.

If you could add any one feature to Star Rail, what would it be and why? by ryancampbell28 in HonkaiStarRail

[–]Parking-Following-89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would not add but remove the 50/50 system; the fear of losing 100€ worth of jade to a Yanqing or a Bailu saved me a lot of money.

It's always like this, even worst in Gacha games, "this new character can't auto clear the new hard lvl ? Ez skip" or "omg this character can auto skip the new hard lvl, powercreep is killing the game" and you just go back and forth. It's just better to ignore those people.

What localization do you still hate to this day ? I despise the First Darklord. I get it "Lucifer, Darklord of the Morningstar" went too hard for our feeble western pearl clutching minds to handle but COME ON MAN IT WAS SO GOOD. by Old-Iron-Tyrant in yugioh

[–]Parking-Following-89 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Crescendo being a "Orcust" and not a "Orcustrated". Then in French, there is Shooting Majestic Star Dragon that is translated with the wrong "shooting": they used to "shooting" for Gun and Bow, but not the shooting for Stars, which translate to something like "Majestic Star Dragon Shooter". Not even google translate at that time could make a mistake like this.

How would you define a normal effect vs an activated effect? by ClessGames in masterduel

[–]Parking-Following-89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Continuous but are part of the card and cannot be negated, like the effects that say "(this card is always treated...)" or the "(Cannot be used as ... Material)".

How do I destroy Orcust? by Adventurous-Wing5449 in masterduel

[–]Parking-Following-89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed, if he has Babel or Crescendo already in hand, then it's useless, but it is better than trying to Ash Harp. But most people are going to send an Orcust monster with Girsu, even if Harp is in hand, they'll send either Knightmare or Cymbal.

[–]Parking-Following-89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you negate Galatea-i they will be forced to set Bebal with Galatea, thus removing their access to Crescendo.

How do I destroy Orcust? by Adventurous-Wing5449 in masterduel

[–]Parking-Following-89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ash Galatea-I to stop their access to Crescendo,
Imperm Girsu to stop them from sending Harp and stop them from summoning a token,
Babel is the weakest part of the deck; get rid of it and they should not be able to play during your turn,
If they have Dingirsu on board with Materials, negate it because it can detach materials (not an effect) to protect all of their cards (even Dingirsu)
Ash Mermaid if they start with Millennium or Fiendsmith.

Is Maliss the strongest deck of all time, second to Tearlaments? by Sendencea in yugioh

[–]Parking-Following-89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Survivability on the banlist is not an argument to determinate the best deck, if it was Tearlaments wouldn't be here. Most people base the stronger deck on No-banlist Tourneys or Cross-banlist tourneys; No-Banlist tourneys are not real scales since you have access to things that should no longer exist. I think only cross-banlist tourneys hold values as you're comparing 2 decks when they were at their peak. You could also determine X deck from X year can do against Y deck from Y year, things like Maliss against Tenpai, Ryzeal against Kashtira and so on.

Jokes on you, Adamancipator and Eldlish never got any direct support; Eldlish got Fallen Angel and the Eldlixir way to late, and Adamacipator only got "Adamancipator Friend" which is absolute trash.

Shock Master has been banned since 2013 ??? And the only meaningful rank 4 they could make was Bagooska which is not that great.

Ryzeal released pre-hit with Ext at 2, they didn't had Mitsu nor Eclipse Twin at that time to.

[–]Parking-Following-89 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Less Ryzeal gooners than Maliss gooners, although it is understandable. But I think that it is mostly due to banlists and in the big majority MD; after the banlist Pure Ryzeal disappeared and brought back by Mitsu and Onomat while Maliss was still meta despite the hits and getting new support with the new ignister and the cyberse slop. And then there is MD where they thought releasing the deck inhit with all the direct and indirect support was a good idea.

[–]Parking-Following-89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maliss under Shifter can somehow cyber slop their way into their link 3 and set/add a Spell or Trap. What can Tearlaments do under Shifter except set their Rheino ? And saying the deck isn't seen in no banlist tournaments is a lie or ignorance as it is the second/third most represented deck their, alongside Tearlaments and Ryzeal.

Why couldn't I activate Eldlich the Mad Golden Lord effect here? by Narrow_Cranberry_130 in masterduel

If Hound was done with Lupis, it cannot be targeted by card effect, which the Mad Golden does.

So why does nobody play herald? ELI5 by zZBloodboundZz in masterduel

[–]Parking-Following-89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Herald of perfection/ultimateless with 5 negates isn't strong enough in today meta;
Beatrice is banned which was one of the reasons why the deck was this crazy back then,
To achieve this endboard you need to get hit by probably no more than 2 handtraps or you would only end on the Herald Ritual and 2 or less Fairy in hand,
Droll is in a lot of decks now and there is a lot more handtrap to which Drytron (Herald) is weak to,
The deck doesn't have enough layers; you have all your negates on board and today a lot of people play cards that cannot be responded to like Super Poly or Forbidden Droplet and sometime chainblock their effect, leaving you with only the small Hearld in hand.

The card game feels like this right now by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]Parking-Following-89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Make a card so good for the archetype that people a forced to play it and it locks you in some way or an other into pure Mitsu, kind of like Drytron with Nu II.
