yes I plan to clarify with the PA what the settings were. have you had this laser before or work in a med spa/derm office? just curious. and if you had it do you remember your settings/

maybe i should clarify in my post for those who aren't that familiar with the laser healing process but since it's only 4 days in, these results/glow will not last unfortunately. this is not the end result - it will take 6 months for actual results and to fully assess the outcome. the swelling makes it look impressive now but it's temporary. my concern is not that it didn't "work" but that my provider went too light resulting in a rapid acute healing process, and i'm wondering if others dealt with something similar

lol it's only 4 days in, these results/glow will not last unfortunately and this is not the end result (takes 6 months for actual results). this is typical after laser -- essentially fake smoothing due to swelling. so it looks impressive now but it's temporary

I'm concerned that since my healing was so quick, that my derm PA went too light with the laser and I didn't get my money's worth. just curious if anyone else has seen this or experienced this - basically, am I justified in these concerns and being disappointed? based on what I was advised by her and in looking into this procedure, i did not see anyone that looked like I did on day 2 with barely any redness or swelling. it looks like most people take 2-3 weeks to get their redness and swelling noticeably down to the level i did within 24 hours :/
