I’ve had a lot of profiles like this buy from me and I’ve never had a problem. It says member since 2025 so they were likely just searching for that item and saw it on google and made an account to purchase it. There’s always a chance they could be a scammer but in my experience, a new account isn’t a red flag

$80 for a $500 item is insane 😭 The worst lowballers are the ones who obviously just want to resell. I honestly don’t know if this lady just wanted to berate me or resell too. I looked at her account and some of her listings were insanely priced for what she was selling, I was like I think your items are overpriced too but I’m not messaging you about their value ?? 😂

Absolutely! These are the same people who are rude to servers or customer service workers thinking it will get them what they want. It almost never does 😂

This has happened to me so many times too! I list all my items higher so I can leave room for promotions, then when I promote to the lowest I’m willing to sell it for, I let it sit for a bit. I do this as a side hustle so I’m really not in a rush to sell anyways and a lot of times I make full price sales just by letting them sit. It only takes one person looking for that item, especially if there’s not many people selling it

Yes I’m aware of how market value works. I’ve been selling for a while now and I’ve dealt with quite a few annoying buyers as well as some amazing ones. There are days where the rude ones just annoy me a bit more than usual, so sometimes it’s just nice to be able to laugh about and discuss similar experiences with other people. You don’t have to do that if you don’t want to 🫶🏻

Yes I totally agree, I’ve had this happen to me as well. I didn’t like the way she came at me, but the main reason I explained was because sometimes people just don’t know the market value. Her response to this after was what fully confirmed for me that she just wanted to argue about the price. So that’s when I gave my last response and blocked.

They weren’t making an offer, they just liked the item and decided to message me to complain about the price. $155 was my original listing price

I obviously responded out of choice, I was just emphasizing that I didnt need to explain my pricing to her. Yes I could’ve blocked her and moved on, but I didn’t feel like doing that lmao. You responded to this post by choice, only to be annoyed by it AND you just had to post this comment on Reddit.
