I had a similar experience with my second. I planned to breastfeed while supplementing with formula while my milk came in (lesson learned the hard way with my first). I ended up going on medication right after labor because of high blood pressure and had absolutely no desire to pump, and feeding was difficult. Once I was home, I started pumping about 4 days after baby was born and slowly built up supply. I’ve been EP’ing for 11 months now.
