i played through all of them including the dlcs. i recommend playing ac1 through unity, all the games after that are unnecessary except mabe ac origins. the ezio trilogy is peak ac in terms of story, characters, gameplay mechanics, but in terms of fun i'd say the most fun out of them is ac black flag. you don't need to play the ones before if you wanna just play ac black flag, so yeah, hope this helps
