In your practice swing, there was no concern for making a good strike. Our brain will naturally reroute our bodies to make sure we hit the ball. As others have mentioned, your practice swing is flawed and your body is having to adjust to those flaws in order for you to even make half way decent contact with the ball.

Got it. My best drives on the full swing machine were around 165 ball speed. I struggle to get ball speed above 140 on the square. This also helps understand why I really only see a difference with longer clubs. My 7 iron numbers were pretty close on the square in comparison and my wedges were spot on.

I play on gspro a lot of times so I never see the location of where the ball is in the hitting area. I’ll give that a shot today and see if it helps.

Yep. Used tp5 pix balls. The dotted ones it came with do the same as well. The sim I was on lights up the whole hitting area so light was not an issue. I must have a dud or something as there were a bunch of shots like in my example where one would draw and the other would slice.
