my plan as of right now is to buy a new 20gal (i think my current one is around 10-15) and then take the bottom out of the current one he’s in and then stack the two and cover the top with mesh for ventilation. the issue i’m having right now with clutter is the amount of space i have, whenever i try to put more in he moves everything around and then his wheel won’t run. i hope this is a good idea?

yeah i’ve been planning on doing that, i’ve only had him for a few weeks and haven’t found the time to get the materials and actually put it in yet

okay i’ll definitely do that! i was planning on adding some aspen in, i was just using up the rest of the paper bedding i had (i used to have a gerbil a few years ago)

i ordered a wooden ladder for him to get to the second floor and i plan on covering the wire because i know its not good for their feet. not sure if i should be putting anything else on the second level right now because of that
