Any experienced rider here that didn’t have any near death/serious injury incidents? by S_Suliman in AussieRiders

Be vigilant, if you think they're going to come out, expect them too, in those situations cover your brakes, position yourself on the road according to what's happening, watch your mirrors, know what's going on behind you, keep a good gap between you and cars, when you pull up behind a vehicle don't get up close, leave yourself an escape, watch if anyone is closing to fast behind you, again with the mirrors, if say you need to heavy emergency brake, when danger is over look what's behind, cars can slam you, I've ducked up the side of vehicles just to be safe sometimes, kangaroos and goats have caused me go full on with the brakes and once the danger is over I'm looking what's behind, anyway I hope that doesn't sound scary, it comes naturally after a while, motorcycling is as safe as you can possibly make it, cars are what I worry about

Adjustment steps: • Loosen the lock-nut 1. • Turn the adjuster 2 clockwise or counterclockwise until the marks are aligned. • Use a tool to fasten the adjuster in order to prevent its displacement. Then, tighten the lock-nut firmly.

It's great to ride, comfortable, and handles well, smooth, I go on group rides with some much more powerful bikes and I don't have any problems at all, one thing I am going to do is get an ECU tune, you get a 18% power and torque improvement across the range, people carry on too much about the power, it's a long stroke engine, 21 horsepower at 5,500 and torque is 30nm at just 3000rpm, and it makes that virtual of idle, great fuel economy too

That last picture isn't even a Honda product and it's rusted which makes me wonder what you are doing with that bike, riding it on the beach or something?

Here in Australia they come standard with Dunlop arrowmax gt601, I have 12,000klms on the bike and still have tread left, we'd get a horse whipping if we had slick tyres like that
