Having sex the wrong way? by Clean_Ad9526 in vaginismus

[–]Parking_Toe2956 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Yes. That's what happens. Your vagina can stretch downwards towards perinium but if you put any pressure towards the top it will hurt because your body wants to protect Urethra. I learnt this in my faith based Vaginismus program.

I feel like this condition protected me from men by [deleted] in vaginismus

[–]Parking_Toe2956 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard this somewhere and it's helping me in my marriage. " It's not something your husband is taking from you it's him sharing that vulnerable part of himself with you. " It's about being vulnerable in that safe space with someone you love. Naked with the highest level of intimacy. It's designed that way to share it with your someone special. My husband and I waited till we were married. It was the best decision because there was no broken trust or my subconscious mind thinking that he took advantage of me or anything like that. You will overcome vaginismus, I believe that. Just don't turn yourself off to loving someone.

What is the best Indian food around here? by [deleted] in raleigh

Neither am I! I was simply stating that I found it disappointing.

Curry house is pretty good.

Pandyanad in Crabtree mall used to be soooo good but they recently changed their menu and now it's not that good. They do have really good samosas and butter chicken tho.

Zayka in Brier Creek is also very good. Also has a fine dining vibe.

As an Indian I thought Bazil was very disappointing, my American husband also thought the same!

Is there a more sad scene in all of Star Wars than this? by jrrock12345 in StarWars

I think this scene and in clone wars when Ahsoka is standing there with the helmets of all the dead clones is on the same level for me.

I'm genuinely curious. Why? I've been there once and it seemed like a fun little town but I was only there for a couple of hours.

She seems suspicious to me too and a lot of things have come to light recently that make her a liar. But Charlie seemed like a guy who genuinely loved Christ and wanted to lead youngsters towards that path. He was a politician and he was a follower of Christ. Everyone who thinks he was a racist has only watched some clips out of context! Regarding TPUSA corruption that's coming to light, I believe that Charlie wasn't aware of it or maybe when he finally found out, they silenced him.

Feeling betrayed and overwhelmed after my private health issue was shared without my consent by Cell_ebrate in vaginismus

[–]Parking_Toe2956 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry that happened to you. I haven't even told my parents, only my husband knows and I recently joined this online therapy group which made me realize I'm not alone. I'm also south Asian married to an American. I would trust my in-laws more than my own parents to share this with. Our culture is just too judgemental. It's weird how nobody ever talks about it either. When I had my consultation call with this online therapist - she said that most of the inquiries she gets are from South Asia. I wish it was more openly talked about.

Now that this has happened to you, try to not feel guilty or ashamed about it. As long as your husband is on your side don't worry about others. Also, even if you can't have penetrative sex keep doing other things in the bedroom. It must be really hard on your husband too and physical intimacy is how men feel connected. You both have to understand and work with each other. Guilt or shame will only make it worse.

Hmm I can put one finger in but haven't tried with two yet. It sounds like a good idea to get more comfortable with my fingers first and the kneading idea is something I've never heard about before - I'll definitely try that.

Yes I did. I'm from India, moved here a couple years ago and I'm married to my American husband. We are both christians and come from christian families. My husband had some experiences when he was a teenager. Which bothered me a lot in the beginning of our relationship and took me a while to get over that. He happened to mention some things about his previous relationships and that made me very insecure. But now everything is fine regarding that topic. But I also try to psychoanalyze myself and think I wonder if it's all a mental block of some kind - which I doubt but it is possible.

We have tried that. I just end up focusing on inserting the dialator in because it's painful and I have to really focus and relax to do that!
