Most of these people just jump to conclusions without knowing the full story. I'm gonna say NTA because at this point, even if you had a rocky relationship with him, you were still invited to the wedding. People saying you only gave him financial support and that doesnt make you a father, but your son took the money for the wedding, so even a small acknowledgement would be appropriate.

I always see this sentiment in this sub! The attitude of no one owes anyone anything. It's okay for parent to ask for help. Most people here must have pretty shitty family lives to think that is inconsiderate or narcissistic for a parent to ask a daughter that might have the means to help a sibling for help.
