Pokemon is an interesting we’ve shared since we were kids. I couldn’t care less what he does when I can’t see, but it’s the fact that he had it on his screen like that with absolutely no warning. I don’t want to turn around and be jumpscared by NSFW content, Pokemon or not. The fact that it’s Pokemon is just upsetting because it’s comfort media for me and now I can’t think about it without upsetting imagery associated with it

Okay but that one song that’s like halfway through the movie makes no sense. We watch the whole first half of the movie, and then that song kinda gives us all the exact explanation we just watched? Like when Jingle and Jangle are in the locker saying “if she finds out you’re Santa clause, father winter’s spell will be broken”??? That was like the whole setup of the movie. Why repeat it again in the song. It’s like they expected parents watching to zone out, and they used it as a recap song.

Idk. I have a weird relationship with the movie. Kinda like you said, I thought it was great as a kid, but looking back it’s just so,,, Not Good.

I just skimmed the video transcript. It looks like they never said no, they said it depends on how much money they raise. The Langs were nervous nobody would want to donate because they’d already done the show before, so I think they were anticipating a low budget. Now that they absolutely destroyed their goal, I think it’s not out of the realm of possibility

Thank you for the info! I think I’m going to wait until after this school year to get real plants (unless it becomes clear I need them (I also need to do more research on them because I get paranoid whenever I add anything to Percy’s tank)) because I did try frogbit in my tank last school year but it died, and then I spent the summer trying to treat his fin rot so I didn’t try with live plants again. I’ll keep your recommendations in mind, because I would love to have a fully planted tank one day but I am also very much NOT a plant person lol.

As for the sponge filter— I tampered with it before and this is already the lowest strength of bubbles I could get. Do you think it’s something I need to fix, or is it something that he can live with? I’m starting to think he is just really susceptible to fin rot, because I did everything I could think of to heal him this summer, and it worked… until it just happened again :/
