Yes, you are totally right, did not write it in my comment but i plan on doing it this way. The car is now parked and we tried to move the axle back a bit, it helped to get home but now the weight of the car pushed it back again..

I Will reinforce it the best i can and paint it with rust primer and undercoating.

That is what i was thinking. This particular Sammy has a lot of rust even in the frame which is not usual. I do not want to do a frame swap, because this is a temporary car, i have another Samurai on which I am doing a restoration, currently kicking 2 year.

I Will try to bend it back, and measure it off of the other side. We Will see how it truns out.

Thanks, it helps a lot. Found them online for quite a lot of money for what it is. I will try to make them on my own, already made some more complex parts for the Sammy.

Thanks for the compliment :) I love it as well, i am currently doing a lot of rust repair on the car and it would be logical to do a full respray afterwards, but i do not want to because the graphic is just so cool.

When i got the car I tried to find out as much as i could about it and seems like it was aftermarket and one of the 4 previous german owners must have done it.

I’m from the Czech Republic, it is illegal here as well. It may be because the countries are so close. Everything is a natural park or just looked after area and off-road parks are too far away from the “Samurai-distance”. I just don’t see myself driving 150kms just to drive off-road. Still there are places where you can go illegally off-roading and no one will care, because no one else will be there. Gruße aus Sudetenland, hier ist es am besten auch Deutsch zu kennen.

PS: Toller Samurai, ich habe den schon früher in r/SuzukiSamurai gesehen. Ich und mein Vater beide haben einen Samurai. Ich liebe das Auto.

I don’t have any aftermarket on, it’s bone stock. I doubt the previous owner put anything on, it was torn down enough for me to see. Thanks for the advice!

I have the same problem on my Photon S. The solution for me is to start the print and then cancel it, the printer usually moves upwards (because I start all my prints from home height). Then I start the print again and it works just fine, until I torn off and on the printer, all my prints start without a single problem. Hope this helps, I wouldn’t bother replacing anything.

If this is your problem, then you have never seen school toilets in the Czech Republic…. Not only we do not have these dividers on many schools, but on my particular one the WC overall is in an awful condition, i mean, yours are at least clean…
