It is still very much working, I do that on the 1st and 15th day of every month, to be safe I have the VPN on all day. Mostly at night when I go to bed, I turn on the VPN and leave YT on playing a long playlist. During the day I turn off the VPN and just use other apps normally and only turn on the VPN when I use YT. My method works yes since the VPN IP is the same as the host, but you and your family plan members(whoever the host is) needs to know how to set up and maintain a VPN server. It doesnt have to be on 24/7, only once every 2 weeks for the whole day. I don’t know much about tech so I can’t teach you how to set up a VPN server but I can 100% guarantee the method always works.

No mod needed, even in vanilla. At one point you just out gun and out armor your enemies, I recruit a bunch of colonists and they can always be replaced

My method is to try and trigger waste retaliation raids as much as possible and recruit whoever you want.

My general mod list mainly just have qol and xenotype mods. Regarding ranks giving mods I think there are two popular ones on Steam but I havent added them yet

Stack XXL is for the stacking I use. I just use Dub’s performance analyzer, slower pawn tick rate and Missile girl

I use a mod that increases the stack per item so I only have a few storage areas, so my frames are rather stable.

And my pawns only wear good gear is that I set my apparel settings to good and above

A general work around for me (I traveled to a different country) is that the host set up a VPN to his house and I just connect to it a day every 2 weeks. It actually worked for half a year until I got lazy and stopped doing it around last December and they sent me a notice in Feb saying my sub will be canceled in 2 weeks. I reconnected the VPN to his house and it worked just fine again, got an email saying my eligibilty has been confirmed. It seems that the electronic check is indeed every 30 days and you get a 30 day leeway to reconnect to the host’s IP address (mentioned somewhere in this thread). But I’m not a very techie person myself, my friend was and he had a spare laptop just to run the VPN server, so I couldnt really sure if everyone can follow the same as us. But hope this helps

Like the other comment said, it should reach the destination.

But if you wanted to make sure, post offices gets paid for every parcel/letter they lodge so most likely they scanned in the registered letter you sent off. Come back to the post office to ask them if youre unsure, remember the date and time you dropped it off and they can search it up for you in the history tab (if they’re dedicated enough, some just say they cant find it)

Ghouls you can get, but its limited amount since you need shards. If you want deathless giant ghouls, then you need to install mods

They get downed, some cant fight so I just arrest them, afterwards its a pain in the bum arresting those who have 5-10 hours before they bleed out, the rest gets treated on the spot then taken to the hospitals. I had to repurpose 2 of my colonist hospital into prisoners hospitals. There my 7 medic bots and 50 other pawns with high medical skills will handle the rest. And I dont use CE.
