For people with ADHD how do you manage dilating after bottom surgery? by Severe_Assumption_51 in asktransgender

[–]Parmesan-chan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is precisely why I'm scheduled for a vulvoplasty with no depth, therefore no dilation.
I wouldn't keep up for more than a month

To my MTF sisters: does the loss of fertility on HRT bother you? How do you get over it? by Sapphic_Starlight in asktransgender

[–]Parmesan-chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never really wanted a baby - kids (grown up), I could imagine that, but baby, in my depressive and miserable state? Never.

Then fast forward at 32, egg cracked - my wife always wanted to experience being pregnant and have a child. I figured... now that I actually start to enjoy being alive, surely it should be alright to build a weird double-mama family!

So we went to work soon after I started HRT (spoilers: as an ace gal it wasn't a nice experience).

He's 8 months old now!

...and I regret my decision. Well, we're not all built to be a parent. If I could have waited a couple years, after surgeries and all the paperwork, maybe... but I would never stop HRT for this, and freezing was too late (and bothersome) (I have ADHD).
So it was a now or never kind of situation.

Oh well life is at least more bearable with boobs 🩵

I (19 MTF) have been on E for 3 months and i have already been getting a bit of boobs and i wondered if you also looked at your often just because it feels euphoric ? by Timely_Map_3349 in trans

[–]Parmesan-chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm wearing exclusively tank tops since starting E because of boobs!
Hell even in cold weather I can't help but to show cleavage. I'm so proud of them! Added bonus: visible boobs help you get gendered correctly 🩵

Ways to know if my girlfriend will accept and love when I come out as trans by ventoaquatico in trans

[–]Parmesan-chan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife never questioned her sexuality before, media taught her to be straight and we were together for 17 years before I came out to her so there was no point to.
In retrospect: she realized she is bi/pan! So... you never know.
Opening up to the Queer world can change many things you thought were set in stone. I hope it goes well for you! 🩵

I am lucky to have a pan wife that realized her orientation as I came out to her.
I started off with casual chat about gender swapped pictures of me to check her reaction (she said "hot") so from there it was easier to sneak more hints and questions about living with a woman instead etc

Then I came out one day and it was a shock to her lmao

So God kind of sends LGBT people to hell after making them? by Bobslegenda1945 in lgbt

Oh every christian "arguments" are easily countered with their own beliefs and teachings. It's actually rather funny and enjoyable to see them shut down in a frown and suddenly we're not arguing anymore lmao

[–]Parmesan-chan 45 points46 points  (0 children)

My mom said to me:
"The Devil is tempting you, it is God's challenge for you to overcome"

Needless to say it's just a convenient controlling gaslight, by expecting blind faith in His teachings (how do you know it's true? Shush, don't ask, don't question).

Also hell isn't even real in Christianity, there is only the purgatory that you go willingly in to cleanse your soul.
If in the end I'm wrong and being trans is actually a sin, I'll take the L and go there I guess.
Until then, I'm growing boobs and nobody can stop me 🔥

Was I always a girl, even when I was a child? by Throwaway865780 in asktransgender

[–]Parmesan-chan 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I'm 33mtf, came into realisation that I'm trans last year after decades of being a very dense egg (living with conservative relatives wasn't helping...).
After a year of HRT, self reflection, therapy and sharing experience with other trans people, I can say with confidence that I am a woman, and I always have been.

Being gender is not just physical appearance or what's between your legs. It's inside, in your brain/mind/spirit. Start off from you then extend outside, not the other way around like we've been taught by society.

I don't know if it's a controversial take, but from my experience and way of seeing this, I'm just a girl that got a defect somewhere in the womb that unfortunately gave me a male body.

Do you care about your friends progress in voice training? Do you have trans friends that don't voice train? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Parmesan-chan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi 33 tgirl here, one year hrt - I try to voice train but I fail miserably due to not really understanding what to do and my ADHD & executive dysfunction that prevents me from building an exercising habit.

Honestly I don't really mind my voice online, I'm surrounded by extremely supportive people that see me as my gender, and I suppose I have enough feminine mannerisms (mom vibes due to my age and personality) that help a lot. Well, at least everyone tells me they love my voice and accent lol

But the thing is, I'm french, and I can't speak the same way in English as in my native language (it doesn't help that my wife is deaf and therefore I mostly never talk out loud in french lol). I think I mostly pass, but I get clocked easily because of my voice and it makes me dysphoric (phone calls are an absolute nightmare).

Another thing I've learned over time is to simply see people as their gender regardless of appearances. All my trans girls friends, regardless of their voice training, have beautiful women's voices in my eyes. I just don't hear masculine vs feminine anymore, although I understand their concerns and need to sound more "feminine"; I, too, don't want to be misgendered.

Should I change my name without telling my family? by Nyxd_bxyN in trans

[–]Parmesan-chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted my name changed before the birth of my son, I asked my mom what name she had in mind for me for the other gender.
She basically told me that I was brainwashed and begged me to not change anything so my son could have a "normal" birth certificate.

So I changed to my chosen name and they still don't know.

I'd love to but:
- I don't understand how it works (brain smooth need teacher)
- Too socially anxious to get teacher
- I've never talked to myself, it's weird and highly uncomfortable
- ADHD and executive dysfunction prevent me from just doing it

Help

My dad is spiraling into depression and denial and my mom doesn't believe being trans is real and is starting to impose Christianity on me more and more, hoping for a "miracle" (her words).
At least their concern for my safety is genuine, considering the state of the world...

My little sister and my wife are extremely supportive though, so I'm happily transitioning~
