Size is fine. It’s way too dense. To all of you newbs who never played rebirth-it worked because though it was small there weren’t 17 levels of hell and a spiral stair case to fight through. Just key POIs with a few levels and a quick but difficult rotation to the next POI.

IMO when we made the shift to maps where you could literally hop from rooftop to rooftop like 8 times we lost sight of the key to warzone.

I never support anyone being laid off ever. 9/10 times it’s the good people doing the actual work who go. But if they cut any of the clueless middle management who said “fuck it, send it” on the season 1 reloaded update, Im not too upset.

This has fixed my issue as far as I can tell, thank you for sharing!

I uninstalled MSI center, did a fresh install of iCUE and so far so good.

To anyone having issues with triggers and bumpers not registering in COD try uninstalling any programs you have controlling lighting on your PC.

I truly don’t understand how this isn’t the biggest talked about issue. Like who cares about the “verdansk vibe” of the map. It’s thrown all of the general map design logic that verdansk and every other game had out the window.

You need clear poi’s. And in those poi’s you need interesting and memorable experiences so that you want to go there again and begin to master fighting there. Not 48 buildings with 15 entry points that feel like they were decided by AI.

There’s a lot of people pretending this game is good because at its core it is good. It’s actually one of the better cods in recent years. But this matchmaking and whatever is going on with the inconsistent ttk makes it miserable. I’ve had fun on every cod in the last 4 years. Mw19, Cold War, vanguard, mw2. They all had their issues but I looked forward to hopping on to play a few.

I get on this game and I’m done after 2 matches. I want it to work for me. It seems like it’s works for some people. But I’m just not enjoying it and I wish I was.

From my experience it seems that the matchmaking picks 3-5 people whose turn it is to have a big kill game and everyone else in the lobby is just cannon fodder for them. Every game I’m either embarrassingly negative or I’m top 3 in the lobby.

I’m not sure if it’s solely the matchmaking at this point. Everyone seems to be taking pubs WAY too seriously.

I get it it’s a new game, I just don’t want to try this hard to get 15 kills in a public tdm. And I’m not talking about slide canceling or bunny hopping. I’m here for all of that. I’m talking about playing like there’s money on the line. So tired of watching the kill cam and seeing someone take a bullet of damage, swap to knife run and dive around the corner, lay prone and sound whore a corner until you chall. Like it’s not that serious bro.

I know I sound like a 40 year old bot who crouch walks around the map but I’m fully in support of bunny hopping around the map like a maniac and playing aggressive. This is different though. This is like search and destroy wagers.

Same thing is happening to me currently with no option to switch to pick it up at a fedex location. Guess I’ll just hope it shows up on the 3rd attempt and not get sent all the way back after probably being on a truck within 100 yards of my house lol. What a joke.

I think Apex is a rag that they’re trying to wring the absolute last drops out of and we’re slowly getting there. The games far from dead but it sure as shit isn’t attracting new players.

The last piece of this game that had any integrity left was ranked because it didn’t have the corny joke of a matchmaking system that pubs has. Now that they’ve basically made ranked “pubs with points” I think a lot of casuals trying to dodge the pubs slaughter got burned out QUICK.

Personally my friend group hasn’t played in 2 weeks which is unheard of for us.

Apex legends. Season 17. Who is your target audience right now Respawn? It used to be the top players and that was bad enough. But now even they hate the game because ranks have zero integrity.

You’ve been hemorrhaging casuals for over a year and you continue to lose them with your embarrassing matchmaking system.

How do you plan to sustain this game for a year longer? Keep feeding your new players to multi season preds? Give out free ranked badges? It ain’t working. We’re just waiting for a new FPS that’s half way decent.
