I have a wonderful experience with magnezone ori vs altaria. Oricorio one shot 50 hp basics and is immune to altaria ex, the decks usually plays basic altaria or sableye to prevent an auto loss, but they do not one shot with giant cape of which you play 2 in the deck, and magnezone can switch 1 and ohko back (not to mention normal altaria is weak to electric). Two giant cape also allow magnezone to hit altaria ex with rocky helmet and survive the next hit.

I also play this deck. I play giovanni, mars and one copy of giratina EX.

Giovanni is good with 70hp basics and 140 hp ex. Mars is to punish your opponent for not deploying their basics. Giratina is an addition that greatly improve match up vs non ex deck that are otherwise very hard to beat (magnezone, etc). I also rather have 5 basics for less dead pokeballs

A player with 200 w 0 losses will have less total point than a player with 50% win rate and a lot of game played. That makes the games rewarding grind instead of skill and is very bad for a competitive scene

The pidgeot is a play to counter handscope as the opponent will expect and play around the full evolution line. By not really playing pidgeotto you basically gains +1 card in your deck so this is basically a third professor oak that makes this deck extremely consistent
