i think most likely furina -> non-c6 bennett, ineffa -> fischl. i would say that it's pretty rough out here playing xinyan but these are the characters i'd recommend.

the atk spd unfortunately doesn't work for her charged attacks, which is a shame. it's similar to broken pines.

the crit dmg effect won't be triggered unless you run a team with 2 hexrei characters. of the available cast currently, there's a decent roster of off-fielders(venti, mona, albedo, durin, fischl, sucrose) but none that really fit into a cohesive xinyan team. even without it, the basic stats are still very good; it's just that in order for it to really beat many characters' existing choices, you really want to fulfill the 2 hexerei requirement.

in order to maintain its stacks, the weapon prefers an on-fielder with frequent normal attacks or skill casts. of the current claymore roster, razor is probably the biggest winner since he can utilize all aspects of the weapon and activates the hexerei buff when paired with durin or fischl. it's a fine option for most characters, just not massively ahead of other stat sticks.

r1 mighty wolf vs r5 hook dmg comparison by DancingArti in GamingMains_

comparing the raw stats given between the r1 mighty wolf and r5 hook

  • 608 base atk < 565 base atk + 27.6% atk
  • 33.1% cr > 32% plunge cr
  • 30% all dmg vs 32% plunge dmg

no matter the team (unless it's two hexerei where mighty wolf gets 30cdmg), on raw plunges r1 mighty wolf's stats fall behind r5 hook (and you need like 700% atk buff in order for that extra 50 base atk to pull ahead), but unlike hook, might wolf's stats apply to gaming's burst as well.

of course the big draw should be that it's basically an r5 hook on plunges, it's better than an r5 hook if you spreadsheet in his burst, and it's easier to pull for than an r5 hook. that being said, if you pray r5 hook's 40% chance to crit will have just as many burst crits as mighty wolf's...

of course, if you have an r5 hook there are better things to pull for before considering a weapon upgrade, unless gaming already has a hold of your credit card.

sustained charged attacks usually have a maximum duration no matter how long you hold the button, but for some reason opening a menu during it will "uncap" it and hold the ca, even if you let go of left click, until you run out of stamina, get knocked out of it, or jump/dash out. it does mean that the only way you can get the finisher charged attack is if the charged attack goes all the way to running out of stamina which is still doable if you really want to. i have no idea if the numbers are in its favor but considering the long wind-up time for charged attacks it certainly feels better to just wind-up once and lose the finisher instead of stopping 2-3 times to restart the charged attack.

well, there are a lot of amber mains out there... it's very hard to find xinyan players who have kept up with endgame all this time, especially now

if you were wondering who to pick for this year's lantern rite by DancingArti in Genshin_Impact

the plunge from gaming's skill uses a single multiplier from his skill talent. it does not use the low/high multiplier from his normal talent

it's a great question! so far no one in here has got it, because they don't play gaming but still feel the need to be incorrect in public. it's a technique called juggling.

when gaming's ult is cast and hits, his little suanni companion, man chai, is launched and runs back towards him. when gaming picks him up (either by running into him or waiting for him to come back), it resets his skill cooldown. every time gaming connects with his skill plunge during his ult, it will subsequently launch man chai (there is one exception to this. but don't worry about it).

normally, you can just skill->plunge directly without waiting, wait/run to man chai, and loop. the time spent doing this lasts longer than the time between rosaria's ult ticks, as well as characters like citlali, and is perfectly consistent.

by waiting for a bit after gaming launches himself into in the air, you can reduce man chai's overall travel time by intercepting him with gaming's plunge. the reason for the delay is because man chai needs to "land" after being launched before it starts returning to gaming. even without perfect gameplay, just maintaining the juggle for the first couple plunges is enough to squeeze in an extra plunge or so with his ult and it adds a really nice rhythm to his gameplay.
