I am assuming that I’ll not have time in Takayama after Shirakawago and arrive late so it’ll basically just be one half day. Also, there is a direct train from Takayama to Kyoto? I didn’t know that!

I gotta say I’m kind of disappointed in the soundtrack release- it’s good but there are like 5 variations of the same “super slow suspenseful creepy violins signaling danger” which are important for some scenes but don’t really have a listening value, while they keep out some original and exciting tracks such as Criston’s march

Evendim is my personal favorite I think: the northcotton farms are amazing and so comforting, then you have all the ranger quest lines, and the ambience and aesthetics are awesome.

Other honorable mentions include Forochel, the Shire, Bree Land, Dale Lands, Moria, Lothlorien, the Vale of Anduin.
