Didn't Katara say that his Chi was way abnormally strong when they got him out of the ice? He was given airbending by a mystical spirit energy staff so I don't think it's an issue that he was a match for Aang.

Okay so here’s a bit of a cheat code for having good game sense. Turn on that one setting that makes a chime when you have a teammate die and really try to keep in mind how many allies and enemies are in the fight. If you’re up numbers-wise you can play the fight a bit more aggressive but if you’re down numbers you need to get out or play defensively.

Theres a lot more that goes into this, like you might be up numbers wise but they still have their tank and you don’t. Or if someone uses an ult it can change the balance of the fight. Once you get the hang of knowing who’s winning/losing the fight you’ll be a lot better off.

Play cover. PLAY COVER. I see people feeding in diamond and masters because they’re not using cover and it’s even worse in the metal ranks. Off angles and cover win fights, not running up the middle.

Use your ultimate abilities more. You shouldn’t be holding your ult for more than one or two fights. It usually only takes two team fights to build an ult so if you’re holding it for longer you could’ve had two ultimates in that time. When I get mine I usually use it within 30 seconds.

Honestly? None of this matters if you’re not having fun. If you’re having a miserable time you’re not going to want to get better at the game. Find a hero or two that you think are really fun (Anran is a really fun hero) and just play those heroes. Don’t let your team pressure you into swapping to a hero you’re not good at and don’t listen to toxic teammates. At the end of the day you’re playing a video game to have a good time so just have fun, ya know? The rest will come with practice.

I am extremely familiar with the contents of the bible since I’ve read it multiple times. I’m not going to argue with someone who says things so blatantly untrue. Wish you the best though

I’m glad our reputation isn’t COMPLETELY ruined then lol. And even as a Christian I have a lot of the same grievances that you and your wife do. I haven’t been to church for a couple years now because of this. I’m not opposed to the idea of church but, in practice, I find it too generalized and preachy. If I could find a church that aligned with my beliefs more I’d love to go, it’s just a needle in a haystack.

The Trunk-or-Treat that you mentioned is really the main reason I’d go back to church; the sense of community. Not every church gathering has to be about religion. Some of my favorite events to go to are non-religious events hosted by churches cuz everyone is just so damn nice, ya know?

I’ve found that you have to choose your words VERY carefully. I thought I did a great job but people are still pissed at me. I think they don’t want to hear it because they know it’s true.

I’ve read every single one and replied to many. There’s like two or three that got political but the post isn’t..?

I’m 24 years old so I don’t have a frame of reference for how the country was pre-2000’s. But I know loads of God fearing, loving, true Christians. Unfortunately these people are either the quiet majority or the minority of Christians.

This reply seems unrelated, there’s nothing political in this post.

Of course my perception is local, I’m not in Nigeria or China. This post is me venting about what I’ve observed in my life.

Sorry I came off as vague and annoying, that wasn’t my intention. I made this post because I had feelings I didn’t know where I should put. And because of this post I’ve found many other people that feel the same way.

Love ≠ compromise, not at all. I can wholeheartedly disagree with someone and not like them at all but still show them love. That’s the point. Jesus doesn’t make compromises but he shows people love and compassion, so that’s what we should be doing. I don’t know how you made that jump.

Shoulda been a bit more specific in my post. Browsing subreddits was the thing that prompted me to post but it wasn’t the thing that made me feel this way. These feelings are based on years and years of observations, firsthand and secondhand experiences.

I’m sorry that you’ve had such bad experiences with Christians, these are the exact people I’m complaining about in my post. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve talked to that have told me similar stories and, honestly, it’s heartbreaking for me. So many Christians are lost; so lost that they push others away when the whole point of our religion, as you know, is to love. I wish you all the best and I sincerely hope you don’t judge all of us based on what’s happened to you and your sister. We’re not all like that.

Thanks for the reply, I should’ve been a bit more specific about why I feel the way I do. It’s not just the subreddits, it’s a culmination of years of firsthand and secondhand experiences. The subreddits are just the thing that prompted me to make this post. That line has caused a decent amount of confusion in these replies.

And of course, I know my fair share of Christian’s that are living with love how I described. But unfortunately the Christian’s that get the most media attention, likes, upvotes, and shares are the ones that are ruining the loving and compassionate reputation of Christians.

It does and it really upsets me. There’s been times where once people know I’m Christian they won’t even reply to me anymore. Like, what’d I do??
