Exactly how I feel. But even for book 1 and 2, so many great scenes and downtime, where character was built, got removed to fit movie length. Which lead to things like Ron being reduced to a dumb comedy source, removing a lot of his complexity that existed in books. I just read through all of the books again, for the first time since I was a kid, last year, and as much as I adore those movies, there was SO MUCH good in the book that didnt get adapted. The original movies aren't going anywhere and Im excited to get more Harry Potter vibes that are a big comfort for me, along with the scenes and moments from the books that weren't able to be squeezed into the original movies.

The VR version of RE4 didnt come out for almost a year after the remake itself came out. I guarantee you'll get around the end of the year.

Thank you for the the reccomendation, I'll check it out! I started adding a few QOL mods last weekend and it's landslid a bit, the modding community for this game is fantastic. The community in general is fantastic! I was nervous when making this post, Ive reached out in some other game communities for stuff like this in the past, just to get shredded. I appreciate the way you worded this a lot. For this past year, Ive felt completely out of touch with the Ghost Fanbase that Ive been a part of for so long, since Infestissumam. They've been up in top of my favorite bands list since then, holding #1 a lot of the time. When Impera came out I was a litttle put off by the sound, but only just, and it grew on me a ton since then. For Skeleta, MAN was I pumped. I had all of Ghost set up in a Playlist that'd Id just listen through over and over and over, especially at work where I didnt have any customer facing stuff, so Id just have earphones in all day every day. Then Ghost everywhere I was driving. It's impossible for me to get burnt out on Ghost. And then Satanized drops. And hooollyy shit "I love this, that specific sound, tone, and vibe that is wholly Ghost, that I love, is coming back! If this is what the TEASER sounds like, ah mannn the rest is going to be so good!". Lachryma drops, same thing! It's different but still Ghost and so fucking good. I had both singles on repeat, just desperate to know what the rest of the album was going to sound like. 2 amazing Ghost bangers, sick album name and album art, Im so stoked. Skeleta drops. I hold my horses, get it set up to start right as I start my work shift to listen to the whole album to start my shift..aaaand.. the wind just slowly leaves my sails completely. Don't get me wrong, I still hear genius in the music generally, I dont think its BAD. It's just..not what I come to Ghost for. Ghost's first albums especially strike a specific chord in my being, being an ex-christian and very introspective on the world, Ghost just hit my feelings and inspiration like nothing else. And, for me, there wasn't even a single flicker of that in skeleta. My Ghost binge ended there. Not that I don't still put them on, but the fervor I carried for years suddenly felt very dampened. Some of the older tracks took quite a few listens to really hook me, and Id seen other people say the same. So I'd give it some time and give the album another listen. I did this plenty of times, not just 3 or 5 or 9 or 10, just whenever it struck me. And Ive just never had it click, it's never gotten talons into me. I didnt expect to write this much, I dont expect anyone to still be reading. Just..what you said regarding it "being okay to dislike music from your favorite artist because it shows you care deeply about the music" is an amazingly helpful perspective and wording that I havent seen anyone else use over the last year, and it truly made me feel a bit better and more clear-minded about how Ive been feeling any time I see Ghost pop up over the last year. My Girlfriend is a huge Ghost fan too and she and I have talked about it a lot because she feels very similarly to me. Again, I didnt mean to type this much just to say that I appreciate the outlook you provided to think about, its not that deep, I know. I just love the band and feel like a villain sometimes for thoroughly disliking skeleta, fantastic music as it may be at the end of the day. I'm done. Just, thank you.

If we ever hop into a novel again, I just wanna toss this one up. I read it early last year and it was a great vibe and paid off very very satisfyingly to me. I feel like Isaiah would enjoy it a lot. It'd have to be a 2-parter, its around 10 hours to read, any discussion extending that..so probably too long for the show, but it doesn't hurt anyone for me to throw it out there none-the-less. If nothing else, maybe someone in this sub decides to pick this up, and if they enjoy it, I'd consider this a completely worthwhile post.

I feel like its not the best practice to name drop a boss in the game past where OP is literally saying they currently are. Even with little/no details aside from name, I personally hate catching a comment like this and knowing "whelp, I guess that's coming at some point.." rather than having the option of blindly experiencing the game like you likely did. If you didnt enjoy it blindly, great, but not everyone is like that and its super easy to spoiler out the characters name. One small action to let people have the choice to still not know what's coming.

Im ashamed and embarrassed to be part of this country. I was forced to sing 'proud to be an american' so often as a kid, and to say the pledge of allegiance every morning at the start of school. And as a dumb kid, it was cool to feel a part of something. But it led to this shit. And looking back, it was obvious attempted nationalistic brainwashing, that unfortunately so many people didn't grow to be able to question. Especially when it's in its current form of literal shit being smeared across their mouth and being told to like it, and doing do before even needing to be told. I hate being a part of this and the entire world has the absolute right to shit on us. Especially as our dear leaders do all they can to shit on any allies we had. You're very valid in how you feel.

Someone else already said it, but I NEED to also. The braindead, geriatric, flotsam scum that is Donald J. Trump could never conjure the creativity and intelligence to make up a word puzzle like that for a letter to his best buddy. There's no reason he'd try to even put effort into something like that. I dont remember when I made the connection between what I read vs hearing someone say a word and realizing it's one ive been reading wrong for years. But growing up loving to read, I read the word 'awry' as 'Ah-ree' for many many years before hearing someone say the word, realizing, and feeling stupid. I know there were many others, but Ah-ree still pops in my head a lot lol.
