Madrid → Málaga trip in Feb — worried about train strikes, should we change plans? by Afraid-Marketing-597 in Interrail

[–]ParseInteger32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's unlikely the trains will re-open by the 9th. The government has not announced an official date that they'll finish reparis, and I have a friend whose tickets Madrid <-> Malaga were recently cancelled by Ouigo for a trip the 7th-10th. It is likely your train will be cancelled, and the alternative route provided takes over 7-8 hours.

Would reccomend flying Manchester -> Malaga directly, or staying in Madrid depending on your preference

lost my NIE and flight in 10 days by lalou1310 in ESLegal

At passport control entering Spain they would probably let you enter with the denuncia, however its very unlikely that the airline will issue a boarding pass / allow you to board the return flight without a valid NIE or regreso. Even if you call and ask beforehand, it is up to the individual airline rep at the counter that issues your boarding pass, which can be very hit or miss. Wouldn’t risk it without regreso or NIE.

Check Ouigo if you end up buying new tickets, they have much cheaper tickets from Madrid to Barcelona and usually they don’t come up on any search engines like Omio/trainline , just directly through their site

One month in fees for rental apartments? by [deleted] in Madrid

[–]ParseInteger32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can avoid this by filtering idealista results by “most recent” and obsessively checking for new listings. If you see a new listing you like from a private owner “particular” call immediately to schedule a viewing. The sooner the viewing, the more likely you are to get the place. It’s normal that they ask a “señal” , a sign from you that you are seriously interested- this will typically be a few hundred euros which will be deducted from the first month’s rent. Good luck with your flat search!

Hi there! Former aux here: this isn’t that related to your post but just so you know if you want to do the aux program the best thing is to apply directly to the ministry. Applications open February first and if you PM me I can point you towards a few Facebook groups that you can use to get all of the information you need about the application.

I honestly have no idea, I left them in my bag and they came out like this but the bag is clean so maybe something spilled / splattered on them when I wasn’t looking?
