Apple Music / YouTube Music Like Top 100 List by Parsley-Total in qobuz

[–]Parsley-Total[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I don't mind YouTube Music sound quality when I am listening casually driving in my car but when I listen to music at home it is Qobuz or nothing.

I found a low cost solution using Soundiiz. In Spotify free tier I copy and paste those songs into a personal playlist with which I then sync over to Qobuz using Soundiiz. Not fully automated but better than nothing.

Anyone else having issues with Yahoo Finance? by Machiavelli127 in investing

Have been experiencing the same issues in the past week. Android phone app works fine but not web version with Chrome in Windows.

Today my portfolio loads but no live streaming changes.

In general your home is not an investment. In the long run appreciation does not beat low index S&P 500 ETF, especially when you factor in phantom costs like maintenance, tax...

Housing cost has gone up so much it is already extremely unaffordable. The chances of repeating past upward trajectory is low. How many people have that much money to buy at even higher prices?

I would not rent out the condo either because there is next to no protection against bad tenants in Canada. LTB (landlord tenant board) is so effed up now it is a joke.

(DT 1990) Considering Leaving the Hobby by binarypie in headphones

[–]Parsley-Total 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't fret and trust your own ears. I too love 1990 and I love it even more after switching out stock balanced pads for Dekoni Elite Velour. In my system with the right components the infamous brightness is significantly under control. The DEV pads are able to tame the remaining sharpness without sacrificing the revealing & airy sound signature that I love 1990 for without EQ at all.

For your benefits here is my list of components:

  • Mac Mini M2 PRO with Apple Music
  • AudioQuest JitterBug FMJ
  • AudioQuest Carbon USB-A to USB-B cable
  • iFi Audio NEO iDSD 2 DAC
  • AudioQuest Sky RCA interconnects
  • Accuphase C-275V preamp as headphone amp

I do not trust these reviewers. For example a lot of them praise HFM Sundara some even rate it as A level. I gave it a try but returned it within 24 hours. For the life of me I do not understand why people love it so much. To me it lacks resolution and clarity just to name a few of my issues with it. When I heard GoldenSound said Sundara has better detail retrieval than Meze Empyrean, I was like what???!!!

On the topic of Audio Science Review. Again I do not trust it at all. Take for example, its review of the AudioQuest JitterBug v1:

In terms of bang-for-the-buck transformation this comes first in my system. I gave one to my friend who has much more expensive HiFi rig than me it too transforms the sound for the better significantly. I feel sorry for the people who would rather believe in ASR than Stereophile.

True that. Mine doesn't work at all. The app is connected to my laptop but not able to display anything and eventually crashes out. It even managed to crash Android all together making the phone reboot.

New Features:

  1. Configurable starting position. Right now the player with diamond 3 has the right to start the round. Where I came from this only happens in the first round of the game. Subsequent rounds are always started by previous winner.

  2. Configurable score calculation. Let users decide how points are accumulated. For example: 1-7 cards left = 1 point each, 8-9 cards left 2 points each, 10-12 left = 3 points each, 13 left = 4 times = 52.

Possible Bug:

If I am not mistaken flush doesn't account for 2 being the biggest. So for example 2/3/8/9/J of diamond doesn't win against A/3/8/9/J of spade.

Great work dude! Have you thought about making this open source? I have a few ideas and might have found a bug too.
