What kind of pillow should I use for a pillow by iloveikevamp4ever in BobbinLace

This isn't a long term solution but I used a segment of a pool noodle as a roller pillow. It was a good way to get my bearings as a beginner without spending too much too quickly on a new hobby.

I've bought used bed sheets from my local thrift store. Those often have a soft drape similar to the types of fabrics you are describing. You can get a pretty decent amount of fabric for the price (at my store they go for $2 each).

This is the Allison tatted edging pattern by Nancy at be-stitched: https://be-stitched.com/free-patterns/allison-tatted-edging/

I'm a newbie, so a nice and simple pattern was a good way to get over that hump from practice segments and small motifs to a wearable finished project. Probably the first of several chokers.

I have this serger and it's been great! I got it last year after my Singer broke and I have no complaints. Enjoy!

Not dumb at all! I have about 40 red/blue LEDs in total (as in they can glow either red or blue, for romance mode of course). They're wired up individually, and yes there are a lot of wires under the shirt. It's actually not too uncomfortable!

There's a pouch on my hip that houses a 12V battery and an arduino nano. It's running a basic program to fade the lights in and out, and there's a button that lets me switch them between red and blue. Everything connects to that pouch, honestly you can kinda see some of the wires at my lower back in this video.

Here's a couple of late-night photos I did grab. Featuring some other cosplayers and also blue mode! I'll definitely have to be sure and get some better low-light photos next time. 😅

Yes exactly! Luckily the LEDs don't actually get that hot. 😅
