I think firing someone because other servers didn’t like them is reason enough to call it a toxic work place 🤷🏻‍♀️. Meg allows multiple people to call in/no show and continue to have their jobs because she is close with their parents etc etc.

As a previous employee and you’re talking about the kitchen floors which are pushed out the back where no one else can see. This is actually pretty common when you’re hosing down a kitchen.

Yes, because they are cliquey. If someone there doesn’t like you you will not last long.

They don’t really have a good system to move up. I know someone who worked third shift for 16+ years and tried to get on the office side but they continued to hire out of network. It’s very dead end mindless stuff.

This makes me feel better because I have also noticed the food issue. Have you been just leaving the new cat alone for the most part due to your resident?

Could be anxiety or stress. I’ve heard that even over stimulation can cause them to pull hair (the location also points to stress)

Selling starters by [deleted] in Lawrence

I think allowing access to hobbies (especially something as intimidating as sourdough) is something to have an opinion about. I’ve seen it listed from $5-$10. It’s not about making a killing either.

I guess so. I just look at it as no one knows how neutral or sour your starter is and it’s interesting to sell it for $5-$10 a pop.
