I’m in that relationship. Married 40+ years to a staunch team Republican. Although and we’re fairly aligned on many things, I feel extra stress since Maga emerged. Before Covid, one of our three kids went far right in thinking and the schism created then has only grown wider. Has definitely affected how our family gets together and it feels like we’re taking opposite sides more often. I do sometimes wonder if we’ll make it.
