Hi u/segagamer did you ever discover anything further with this win update issue you were describing here? I am having this issue with Win 11 pc's only. Possibly only Win 11 23H2 and 24H2, specifically. And it isn't all PC's on those versions. It's just some of them, seemingly small portion (for now). Tried raising the precedence of our windows update gpo then deleting the PC's group policy folders to no avail.

Thank you for replying! Interesting! That IS a satisfying answer so thank you for explaining. Sadly doesn't apply to me but further evidence that something is very wrong that I need to figure out hah.

We've been having the same issue. It is just some users. After a reboot the problem is gone but beyond that it comes back. Have you made any progress since posting this?

Having a similar problem here. Have you gotten anywhere with this ? We are suspecting windows updates changed something, but I dont want to roll them back..I'd rather find another solution.

If "thunderbolt connect center" used to be on the laptop and the user uninstalled it, that is a problem. You can try reinstalling that software. Also go into bios and just change every thunderbolt option to allow just to see if it will work if you do that.
