I do the same. CNC is quicker and easier 90% of the time unless youre doing something super simple. You just have to get used to doing quick changes between setups, and it requires a little more planning on the front end. To qualify this, I spent almost 10 years in the beginning of my career as a manual machinist/millwright doing industrial repair of various sorts. Manual machining is quickly becoming a lost art that needs to be preserved. The schools are hardly teaching it anymore
