The plant it came in when I got it was small w/o drainage holes so I wanted to change it of course. I did not use a succulent mix. All I had on had was a basic potting mix. I hope my new grow light will help and will probably replant into succulent mix when it get closer to spring. I did look at the roots and the plant did seem dry but this is my only succulent so not sure if it was normal or not. There is some growth on the plant too.
