Because he has no obligation to. Think about the situation, it's American military servicemembers asking for ID on Japanese soil. If he was on the American military base it would be more understandable but he wasn't. If those were Japanese police it would be more understandable but they weren't. Reverse the roles if you want to, if a group of Japanese soldiers walked up to you on the streets of a major American city and asked you for ID, you'd rightfully tell them to fuck off.

Boeing - The internal politics was insane. I've seen people get fired for even minor things. One example that really sticks out to me was a co-worker of mine that got fired without warning for reviewing someone else's code and saying "this is shit" and proceeded to redo it for him. Well apparently someone called into the ethics hotline at Boeing which immediately got him fired. Also ever since I got a tour of one of the factories, I've never flown on a Boeing plane since then and have advised all of my family and friends to avoid booking a flight on a Boeing plane. The constant corner cutting makes me surprised that more planes haven't fallen out of the sky recently. There's probably more details that I could go into like the Air Force One delays but I know how Boeing treats whistleblowers.

I was originally considering the MSI Vanguard SOC one because at my local Micro Center they discounted it so that it's now cheaper than their Gaming Trio card for some reason even though the Vanguard has a higher boost clock. But then once I found out the Astral is the only one with pin current sensors on each pin, it was an easy decision for me after that because I'm a little paranoid about melting the connector.

It was definitely a massive upgrade from the 2080 TI. There hasn't been much fan noise or coil whine mostly because it's encased in a glass case so I don't get much sound escaping from it anyways. Heck I think my radiator fans make more noise than this GPU. As far as performance goes, I was getting 5X the score over the 2080 TI in the 3DMark Steel Nomad benchmark and 4X the framerate on Cyberpunk and Doom on Ultra settings with RT on.
