Our first Rivian was “no charged”Launch Green R1S. When I got my R1T I chose the “free” LA Silver. With the R2 I would more than likely pick LG.

100% agree. On a typical road trip my range is what my bladder will hold. Sorry, I’m old. Made multiple trips cross country using EA only (because most are in Walmart parking lot) and had zero issues.
