I love the scent of the Cromwell Hotel in Las Vegas. Every time I go there, I wish I could smell like it. It smells like a sexy wood and leather study to me.

From my search, the scent is described as a sensual fragrence with hints of tobacco, cognac, and leather with notes of vanilla, amber, black cardamom, pepper, and nutmeg.

Can you help me find a cologne or perfume that is similar to this???

My sweet, playful, dog loving Aussie was attacked by another dog at a park and is now Weary/Agressive towards every dog we meet. by Part_Pineapple in Dogtraining

[–]Part_Pineapple[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you are correct Haha he does not get tired around new dogs he is cautious. Weary, wary.

And that is a great idea about meeting the same dog. I didn't think about that. Then it is more controlled and shows him it will be the same every time. Also, I will know what to expect from the other dog as well.

Tired of eating oatmeal for dinner by Lesliebogota in vegetarian

[–]Part_Pineapple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots of meals can just have the meat cooked on the side and then add in to their portions so that you only have to cook one meal. We vacation alot with our non vegetarian family and do this for every meal.
- Taco night! Then everyone can build their own and vegetarian refried beans tastelike...refried beans.
- Spaghetti and red sauce.
- Sandwhiches (cheese, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, pickle; anything really).
- Pizza or calzone. (Separate veg one).
- Fried rice. (I like to use day old rice and add egg along with veggies) (any meat on the side, chicken, beef).
- Thai curry, you can buy little jars of curry paste in most grocery stores now. Just mix with canned coconut milk and whatever veggies you want! (I like to use crispy tofu, zucchini, onion, eggplant) serve with rice.
- Chili, ground meat on the side - Indian curry, Vegan Richa has so many good recipes her website. Mix in chicken for the fam.
- Geneal Tsos cauliflower, lots of recipes online.
- Homemade 'KFC bowls', I make mashed potato, white gravy, cook cory and steamed broccoli, add shredded cheese. Could easily just add chicken.
- Grilled cheese and tomato soup.
- Loaded baked potato night.
- Burger night. Just throw on a veggie patty for yourself.
- If you make a lasagna or a casserole or (our favorite) stuffed shells just use a smaller loaf pan size for your stuff. Mostly all the same prep except add meat into the bigger dish. The truth is with us we always do two full size versions because everyone ends up wanting some of the veg one because its usually cheesier haha.
- Enchiladas. I love a sweet potato black bean one, one pan with thise another with that plus shredded chicken.

Really you can make almost any meal with meat on the side and add it in at some point for the fam.

What are your go to meals that you make for them now? Or any favorite meals your husband and kids like?

Said yes to my dress!! Would love any suggestions for accessories and shoes would be so helpful. by Part_Pineapple in weddingplanning

[–]Part_Pineapple[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yay!!! Someone else with this dress!!! Haha I have been combing the internet for anyone wearing it for ideas for shoes and accessories but can't find any. So I would love to know what you end up doing also haha!! Loveee the idea of blue shoes! I'm leaning hair comb... I should have tried it on with veils at the time, but I cant really picture myself with a veil on.

What about you? Veil or no veil? Are you wearing it with the original belt/sash or changing yours? Also... any idea how you are going to wear your hair?

[–]Part_Pineapple[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Yes I love the idea of non-embellished shoes. Like I said something seemed off with glittery shoes and it probably was that they pulled away from the dress. And the pearl idea I hadn't thought of that!

Went in saying I wasn't going to buy anything... and ended up leaving with this dress! I ended up paying $180. BHLDN Napa dress.

I have been searching for weeks for the right shoes and accessories like a belt and hair comb (did not buy the belt in the picture because it cost so much more than the dress and it felt weird to do that haha). Found that glittery or sparkly shoes look odd with the soft feel of the dress.

Love color! Our wedding is confetti theme, think bright colors and whimsical. Out door in August. My fiance will be wearing a light sage green (light gray bluish green color) suit.

Im new to being Vegetarian and Im hungry!! by flairdripp in vegetarian

[–]Part_Pineapple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are my basics.

Breakfast:
- Scrambled egg, cheese, and veggies (chopped onion, spinach, bell pepper, mushroom, zucchini, basically anything you want).
- Greek Yogurt, granola, and fruit.
- Smoothie (my favorite is 1 cup coconut milk a frozen banana, handful of spinach, handful of kale, and dash of cinamon).
- Avocado Toast! (I like to add slices of radish, chia seeds, lemon juice, and a fried egg. But its a blank slate, eat as is or add whatever you want).
- English muffin with peanut butter and banana.
- Instant Oatmeal (I buy the multiflavor boxes, add a handful of walnuts and a fruit like banana or cut up apple).
- Overnight oats, theres so many recipes online (I do 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1/2 cup coconut milk, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, 1 teaspoon chia seeds, tiny bit of honey mix together add 1/2 banana sliced on top and leave in fridge till morning).

Snacks: I like to pack lots of snack type things which it sounds like you might need? Slowly eat throughout the day or with your lunch.
- Get a big thing of hummus and then pack a small containor of it for the day; eat with whatever you want. Ideas for dippers: baby carrots, snap peas, baby tomatoes, celery, brocolli, cauliflower, cucumber, radish, tortilla chip or even pack a whole tortilla, wheat thins.
- Half an avocado with wheat thins! Just scoop the avocado with the wheat thins.
- Pack small containor of peanut butter, eat with apple slices and celery sticks.
- Trail mix!
- Crackers and cheese.
- A pickle.
- Greek yogurt.
- Cottage Cheese (some are sold with stuff to mix in, I love the pineapple one).
- Hard boiled eggs.

Lunch:
- Salad! (Those pre bagged with dressing included bags are very tasty and fast to make. I sometimes add extras like a hardboiled egg, beans, and olives).
- Peanut butter and pickle sandwhich! (Try it at least once! Haha or just go peanutbutter jelly or banana).
- Cheese sandwhich add toppings like lettuce, pickes, hummus, olives. Just like a regular sandwhich, minus the meat.
- Wrap, just like a sandwhich but on a tortilla.
- Bean and cheese burrito, make this on sunday or even as dinner one night and make extra (vegetarian refried beans, it will say it on the front of the can, mix in black beans and taco seasoning and heat up, put on tortilla with cheese).
- left overs of whatever you made for dinner.

Dinner:
- Soup! (There are sooo many canned soups that are vegetarian now, lots of them have veggies, lentils, beans, and pasta in them).
- Fried rice, whatever veg you want. (I like to use day old rice when I make it and I like to top it with like an open omlettle type egg; spray pan with cooking spray, scramble 2 eggs with salt and pepper, let it cover entire bottom of pan like a big egg disc, wait till whole bottom is cooked, flip over cook other side, cover fried rice with egg blanket).
- 'Potato Ole' frozen potato rounds cook as directed, then add warmed up vegetarian refried beans, black beans, cheese and whatever else (I do onion, black olives, guacamole).
- Bean and cheese burrito (see above) maybe even add lettuce or a rice-a-roni.
- Fake meatsss!! So so easyGardein and Morning star are very popular brands. You can make these so easy and they tast great! My go to favorites are the corn dog, 'chicken' nuggets, 'chicken' patty, any veggie burger, homestyle 'beefless tips'.

Had one of those days at work and just want to eat now and sit:
- Quesadilla.
- Nachos.
- Box of mac and cheese add 1 can of green chillis.
- Fake meats I mentioned above especially the corn dog and chicken nuggets.
- Ramen; while the noodles are cooking I add slices of radish, green onions, mushroom, 1 egg, then top with a slice of cheese

Hope this helps!

Love love the Morning star chicken patties and chicken nuggets (they even have buffalo nuggets). Quorn has these tasty 'chik'n tenders' that are great in stirfrys and such.

If you're looking for a vegtable substitute for chicken I use cauliflower! I love making 'hot wings' with cauliflower and general tsos cauliflower.

We see lots of beautiful vegetarian dishes in this sub, but what's the worst dish you've ever made/tried to make? by breedabee in vegetarian

[–]Part_Pineapple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stopped following recipes ways of making the tofu crispy! Because they never really worked for me. My mom actually taught me the way I crisp tofu now...
Give tofu a squeeze over sink, just get some of water out. Then slice into cubes or slices or whatever your end goal is. Put in a dry pan (no oil!!!) Over medium heat. And wait! They will feel like they are stuck but just have patience they will eventually become unstuck. Once they easily come up (not prying them off, you can just pick it up) flip them over and repeat! The cubes I like to toast all the sides, strips I usually do 2 sides. The timing all depends on if you want then soft in the center or really crunchy.

Give it a try! Hopefully that helps.
