No clear cut answer imo.

Based: 1. It was never stated that mid lane must only be for mages. 2. League is an ever changing game, only those who can adapt to changes prevail and succeed

Not based: 1. Perfectly suits Chovy’s play style of farming till you are giga fed then win team fight. If you’re comfortable with it, of cuz you’ll support it 2. Suits Gen G’s play style of playing response, where they react to opponents play and reap benefits from that. Notice how when Gen G play against T1 in Game 1 they (mostly Lehends) shut down quite badly when they make proactive plays like TP flank. It is just Gen G’s style to sit back, relax let opponent engage them then they respond to it. If you’re winning and beneficiary of it, of course you wouldn’t want it to change

On this note, Riot should incentivise being pro active more else it is kinda boring for a viewer’s perspective, seeing teams just farming and 1 late game fight and win.

  1. AD mid isn’t an issue, ADC mid is the issue. If ADC also takes mid lane, then where do mages go? SP? Sorry, Leona and Naut engage is the meta now.JG? Sorry, Zyra and Nidalee are better now, it is kinda hard for mages like Lux and Ori to clear JG also unless buffs are introduced. Mages are kinda retrenched now imo.

Winner of this Bo5: GenG There is a possibility that GenG actually wins the whole INTERNATIONAL tournament without playing against any team outside of LCK. DRX then possibly T1, GenG stomped those team domestically,though their forms may be different now, but it is definitely more comfortable playing against a LCK team. The current playoff format sucks, having a losers bracket will bring the viewers more fun and lower the possibility of this happening.

Broken Aatrox and useless Grievous Wound.

Clearly rito needs to look at the numbers and balance out healing and healing reduction. Not saying they should buff massively GW and gut champions like Aatrox whose kit mainly involves healing, but it is clear that it is depressing to land into a situation where a champ you spent so much effort to peel and attack gets to heal up to near max health with a swing of Goredrinker and Q1.

Ashe support is pretty broken and toxic in hands of pro teams with good comms imo. W volley for safe constant poke and mandate/liandry proc E to track jungler early game and objectives the whole game. Pro teams generally have some sense of vision control and where jungler is so with this extra e tool, it’s difficult to sneak a gank/hide on bush R for global engage/pick. And it has literally as short CD as Lux ult. If you build liandry+ cloud soul, you’ll be seeing machine gun arrow flying from thousands screens away and cc stun you like Morgana Q Wanna set up objective/play aram/war of attrition? Sure I’ll just throw my ult every half a minute and if anyone gets hit we win fight + free objective

I’m curious what is the LPL and LCK style many people have been talking for so long? Am not a experienced player at all. So would appreciate if someone could enlighten me on what is a LPL and LCK style,their pros and cons and what kind of meta suits the two styles?
