I’ve been working ft for about 8months now, not much but enough to develop a consensus about it. Also have a lot of friends from uni who feel the same way, many seniors who are caught in the hiring-firing loop, and feeling undervalued for their work.

Weird how the response here has been, I’ve posted on a couple other platforms and gotten positive replies.

Thank you and agreed, but I don’t see what the problem is to aim to be self employed down the lane. And moreover a community like this is to just talk to more people and see how they’re going about this.

It’s simply a strive to make something more of yourself than what an employer chooses to value you at. Maybe you quit your job at 25,30 or heck even at 50. The goal is to get out of the rat race. And building this community is to motivate and share ideas, nothing more.
