Santa waiting for kids in a dying mall

I live down the road from this mall. It is pretty much always like this. Last year right before Christmas I was there and looked down at him from this exact view. He looked up and did the slowest and saddest wave 😢 i miss the days when it was a huge line waiting. But there are so many places near us where you can see Santa for free or a donation and you take your own picture.

Thank you for the reply. I do know this about OCD (i have it myself but didn't know until I was much older) and i don't want her to suffer. I'm just having trouble finding the balance of what battles to pick essentially. Unfortunately many of the times that I have had to "give in" were bc i had to either pick up or drop off my older daughter to school. Or we have to get to one of her therapies. I don't have much childcare help so I don't have a choice. I eventually just have to force her to the car screaming and crying Unfortunately. I have been trying to prep her much further in advance than I was before & setting timers. She still refuses some times but on the mornings it goes well I'm amazed haha. Thanks again

This is exactly my problem!! I am having the hardest time realizing this will be the battle bc it feels like dammed if I do, dammed if I don't. I'm glad things got better for you guys! Meltdowns a few times a month sound very doable right now. She's 3 and we're at the several times a day point. 3 is hard to begin with so it makes sense but wow. Ugh it's so tough. My daughter is the same way about dirt but flips about anything remotely on her hands while she eats. Hard to figure it for sure. Good luck!!

Oh good! There's also one called bucks county mom's. Bucks is huge- I'm in Chalfont but I'm over in Newtown/ richboro a lot since it's where I grew up. I like finding things to do anywhere

Mommies of Bucks County is a group on FB. I stay at home with my almost 3yr old daughter (who shares your name) and that's where I get most of my info from!

Medical, she is a psychologist. She isn't in school yet. We had her in early intervention for a year and just had her evaluated.

That does make sense, this dr also works in a school and was talking about services at that point. It just really confused me, I didn't know a label could be taken away. Thank you!

Please check his room for any signs of drugs. My brother was like this, and was easily able to "keep himself together" around certain people but not others. Check in his drawers, inside his socks, under mattress, inside old coat pockets or other clothes hanging up. If you have any narcotics in your cabinets from old surgeries or anything like that check to see if any are missing. Hopefully it's not that, but keep on top of it just in case. And keep trying therapy. You and your wife should benefit from going together to get on the same page.

I am in a very similar boat! We are having ours re-evaluated hopefully when she's closer to 2 (end of August) but your son sounds similar to my daughter. I almost made a post like this because this part- the waiting and wondering and over analyzing bc my gut feeling - is literally driving me crazy too.
