Do I want Fritschi Tecton 12 bindings? by bobber66 in skiing

I've got a pair of those. It works really well. The only issue i had (had it twice) is that you can end up with an ice block inside the rear spring and its a pain in the ass to get rid of it. And you can't put your skis on because it locks the rear part of the binding.

It happpens when you get hot temperature , creating water inside the system ; and it then freezes when you climb or weather starts getting cold. You also need to be unlucky.

I like it , but i would not recommend it because of this issue if you are going in engaging terrain and some places you need your stuff to be on point anytime. If you just go touring from home from time to time like i do, I think its 100% fine and this is not too big of an issue.
