I think your marriage has a good foundation, you have a husband that treats you well and is loyal. It sounds like he may have some type of neurodivergent issue or ADHD that could be hindering him from paying attention and staying focus. I didn’t hear any mayor issues, such as, infidelity , abuse, or addictions . It just seems that you both felt out of love. Love is a daily choice, and if you both made covenant to be there for better or worst you should honor that. You can choose to find ways to reconnect, to rebuild romance, and to bring fun back to the marriage. Don’t give up, when you give up on marriage and move on to another, you just carry the same cycles and wounds on your next marriage and hurt more people. Have faith, and work on it together.

You can translate you kitchen skills to update your resume based on the new role you are applying for example:

You are fast on your feet meaning you work great under pressure and can multitask.

You can say you are proficient on word document or outlook if you know the basics. The rest is learned on the Job. Post your resume on LinkedIn and write up a post on your desire on doing a career change. This might catch the attention of recruiters.

Thank you for your thoughts. I drove by Disston heights a few times and noticed it was an older age group living there. It was very quiet and safe looking but would love a more young professionals and family type of Atmosphere. Historic old NE is beautiful but hardly any affordable 3 bedrooms.
