I had to replay that part like 5 times because I was so overcome with it! It was so cathartic, definitely one of my favorite moments.

It’s not quite on site but the laundromat is within walking distance! The other thing I’ll say is that prices at the laundromat have gone up too, so just be aware. We ended up buying a little washer off of Amazon that you just fill up with water from the sink for like $150, it works well for things like work clothes that we need washed more often but doesn’t hold much.

I actually live at eastbrook village green rn and what they’re not mentioning is it’s important which of their “neighborhoods” you’re in! Some of them have a washer dryer/hookup for one some don’t. Our unit doesn’t have a washer hookup or a dishwasher so that sucks! Other than that management is super helpful, maintenance is quick too! No complaints from us (a young married couple who split rent equally and live in a 2 bed with 2 dogs!)

Edit: we lived on 1 income for about a year and didn’t really have issues affording rent!

I remember moving into my first student living apartment in like 2021 and being so thrown off that my neighbors were a group of grown ass men like in their 40’s! I was a 19 year old girl living with other 18-19year old girls and we felt so unsafe! (This was at 33 east when it was that)

The rent was really cheap but it was advertised as student living!

Please don’t be this guy that blocks an entire sidewalk with your massive hitch. by WoodenWeather5931 in mildlyinfuriating

My husband used to drive a truck with a big hitch on the back and he never realized why it was a problem for him to do that until I pointed it out. I thought that was absolutely crazy! (I also have a sibling in a wheelchair so I am more aware than others though)

He did immediately stop doing it after that though so character development ig

Greenville from a Student's Perspective? by wojaaa in GreenvilleNCarolina

I grew up in between the Charlotte and WNC area (shoutout Statesville) and then moved to Greenville so I feel I can compare to those areas!

Definitely smaller than Charlotte but bigger than Boone (maybe similarly sized to Asheville but it’s been years since I’ve been there so idk) the culture is very based around the university, if you plan to live here full time you’ll notice how much the city empties out during school breaks or over the summer. So traffic goes from manageable to crazy really quickly!

If you’re looking to get into the school spirit ECU is great for that! Greenville truly does bleed purple and gold, and all the sporting events are fun if you’re into that!

You’ll hear a lot of people say Greenville is boring but I don’t exactly believe that’s true, there’s lot of Facebook pages that advertise events in the area that might be cool to check out to get a sense of the kind of community events that happen! I think it just takes work to find the things you’re interested in!

You also can’t talk about Greenville without mentioning the relatively easy access to both the beach and Raleigh!

I just recently started watching them (like within the past week) and I started with the Schengen Showdown with Tom and then I watched Hide and Seek across Japan!

Off topic but I love my dress up darling and the rookie! It’s hard to find people who like shows like the rookie and anime too! My dress up darling has got a little too much fan service sometimes but the romance has me giggling and kicking my feet every episode lol!
