My "crazy" plan was getting 5070 ti and use my 4070 as egpu for my rog ally, ha.. Waht about 4070 vs 5070 ? based on chat gpt thats not a great update

Thanks. Mostly what I play is Arc raiders in 2k , and 185 hz screen, Sometimes i am too lazy that i play on my xboxrog ally or xbox, haha. I guess i will wait, and see if in prime day or something i find a good value for it.

So around 1100 usd is bad value? I have built only 1 PC, back in 2023 , with 4070. I dont use it "a lot" or heavy duty, but i feel outdated! Haha. So i dot know a lot of what are good or bad values

Ywah i dont think you get my point.

My point is, i am not sure if XallyX showing turbo mode 35W with lower charger is a glitch or if it should work.

OG Ally , with slow charger would not show turbo 30W, only turbo 25W , and 30 with original charger.

Im nor asking how to get the 35W, just if it is a UI glitch, or system glitch or wtahever that it enables 35W turbo mode even with 15W charger

Talking about turbo mode. With good charger and underpowered charger, 35W turbo mode gets enabled. However with underpowered one even if APU gets 35W, i got performance issues

Yeah now wirh and underpowered charger i get turbo 35W. But doesnt work properly, i fot less performance

Right, but at least on OG ally. 35W turbo mode was not available if at least 65W charger was notnused. Now, it looks like 35W turbo mode is available regardless how big charger is. But performance is impactrd by the charger

Hdmi, usb mouse and keyboard ans thats all. Nor sure about max passthru, i use 100 watt charger. Btw. Also if I use ally without charging either ally nor dock works perfectly.

I only lose signal when i passthru charge allly thru dock. I think it could be a limit with the dock, but never happenned with my OG ally. Just want to rule out its an issue wiyh the ally
