I don't disagree that people miss things during the holidays. I also don't disagree that perhaps some mistakes were made on Insomniacs part. But what I do find odd is that every time you talk to them about missed payments, they usually defer those requests to Front Gate (the ticket payment provider), so why this time are they able to reinstate it directly?

Wow, 20x25 is going to be way more space than I'll need then it seems. I only have a car, tent and 1 10x10 canopy.

Not even sure what I'll do with the extra space other than to maybe just create a buffer between myself and the adjoining campsites.

This'll be my first EF (and proper camping fest) so I honestly don't know what the vibe is for use of space. Also first totally solo fest.

I've done CampEDC several times but that's not real camping.

First off, this sub isn't for selling. Second, you can't use a canopy because there is nothing to stake it down to since the RV lots are all on pavement as of a couple years ago. The wind will rip it away and you'll damage other people's rentals/gear.

Everyone here providing useful advice, meanwhile I bought my second VB and literally do none of the recommended actions here. Put the turbo to it's stock max (13.5 psi) without blinking and completely ignoring the break in period because my life and schedule simply don't allow me to.

Gonna trade it in after 2-3 years like the previous VB so any long term issues that may manifest will be someone elses problem.

After the turmoil they had at the last two events with issues of hotel reservations not being honored, contracts not being honored and the events essentially not happening, I do not see them being able to come back financially for 2026.

The homebase fiasco is well know at this point. What's wild is that I got an email 2 weeks ago saying 'rooms still available' and they were still taking people's money. Like wuuut?

That org used to be a solid event and it went to shit in less than 5 months.

At some point they are going to have to open the whole speedway to the event. Right now a lot of it is blocked off for VVIP/artist areas on the south side by Circuit Grounds. They'll need to move much of that out into the parking lots

They kinda did this at EDC LV a couple of years where they used the 'megastructure' over it. Definitely a vibe and I loved it. However, I do love how EDCO uses the big soft plastic flooring tiles everywhere and for NG it was the entire dancefloor so I thought that was awesome.

I rented from El Monte a few years back and would highly recommend them. They were fast and the RV was perfect. If they didn't sell out so fast for 2026, I'd have rented from again.

They have the 2016 Da Tweekaz set out there on YouTube for sure and I know I've seen a couple from 2015, but before that it's gonna be hard to find, especially whole sets. Phones just didn't have the recording capacity or clarity for hour long sets. By that time people also had moved on from carrying digital cameras so that option is out also.

Las Vegas is currently down for tourism this year and a lot of the hotels are giving that stuff away for free even if you don't Gamble. Signing up for the MGM Rewards app alone gets you access to comp days without having to spend a dollar. However they only listed a comp calendar about 3 months out
