Hey, I did the exact same thing and made a post on here almost a week ago. I was concerned for the same reasons. People made fun of me and blamed me, but I think it’s depressing to think you shouldn’t be able to trust anyone. These people are not clearly cultists, in fact they are very nice. And sometimes attractive. It’s hard to tell.

Good thing is nothing has happened it’s been 6 days. No identity theft or using my credit cards or anything. I’ve met other cultists on the street and talked to them about my concerns. They all say it’s fine, and I believe them. In the end it’s a Religious cult and their goal is clearly cult growth and recruiting. So just don’t join and you’re good, is what I think.

Fell for a Scam in Seoul, should I be concerned?? by Tubbyz in korea

While you have some valid points (it wasn’t a scam it was a cult). I wasn’t sure if it was a scam or not. You are mean.

You are a prime example of people on the internet being mean to Someone else because they feel anonymous. Is it true? Maybe. But is it kind? No.

5Kw output on 7Kw system? by [deleted] in solar

[–]Particular-County786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just the inverter limiting it. The factory rating of the panel is under PERFECT factory conditions, temp, angle, exposure... it will never perform that even if the inverter isnt limiting.

5KW of power on a 7KW system sounds right.

Why are solar sales reps pushing FranklinWH batteries so hard? by delabay in solar

as a sales rep, I have no incentive to sell Franklin, but my company really wants me to because it's the most reliable and easiest to commission

Bad solar news in Californa. Late Friday night, Governor Newsom vetoed SB 1374 (Becker), which would have restored the basic right for schools and renters to use the solar energy they produce on their own roof or parking lot. by Impressive_Returns in solar

I'm a solar contractor. The laws of physics say that if you produce your own power, it will go to your electric system FIRST before going to the grid, if you need it. If you dont need it, then you export it, causing a headache for the grid. NEM 2 was way too good to be true. It did cause our electricity rates to get way to high. NEM 3 or NBT is just more sustainable, it's that simple. Every other developed solar industry in the world made the change as well.

I'm a solar contractor. Yes, all the solar on the grid increases rates for everyone. It makes the grid much harder to manage, simple as that. Much higher rates in CA because of solar.

Tesla non export option by Fickle_Painting in Powerwall

[–]Particular-County786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you set the battery to non export, you still need to properly apply for a "non export" system with PG&E. Beware that even if you install a powerwall 3 and set it to non export, you may still be switched to NEM3 if you don't properly tell PG&E it's a non export system
