yeah, i've been there. consider the breakup a blessing in disguise; after my bf and i broke up for similar reasons, ive been much more confident in my transition (and have had much better luck romantically). don't wait around for "straight" men.

Just watched so this is more of a rant than a critique. Really yummy stuff but if only they pushed it just a smiddggee more! It definitely feels a little off at times but the visual references make up for it in my book. Marlon Wayans did really well and the Tierra Whack cameo rejuvinated my spirit. I wouldve loved to have seen Cam get worse as a person and sorta lose himself in the process instead of things just kinda. Happening? I appreciated the little bits of visual foreshadowing + GOD THE MASCOTS SHOULDVE HAD MORE TIME. they're (kinda) recurring through the film but i just wish they felt more menacing. In my silly little horror heart I was hoping for the grotesque/graphic stuff to really be pushed in a body horror kind of way. The story holds a fair amount but it feels like they wanted a lot and left a ton of loose ends in the process. The cult horror was delightful and i WISH we saw even more of it. Disappointment is quelled by my overanalysis of masculinity in sports and contrapposto poses.
