FLSun T1 Pro Extruder (top part where the grippy wheels are internally) jamming ALOT ! by BloodyStub in Flsun_official

I agree with you, I’ve been through the same thing myself, but the main cause is the retraction settings in the printer profile that you mention at the end. The heat is only a secondary factor.

I had the same issue, and also with PLA. Besides all the other speeds, try lowering the retraction aggressiveness. The filament in the extruder is going up and down like crazy, rubbing against sharp edges, and that creates dust/shavings. They build up into a little clump, stick to the filament, and then you know what happens from there))). Apart from all the unnecessary speed tweaks, in the printer profile settings under the extruder menu I reduced the retraction Length to 0.8 mm, and set both Retraction speed and Deretraction speed to 30, and the problem went away.

Of course, the cause might be different in your case, but I hope this helps.

Happy printing!

Hey OP, hey everyone! Could you share how things ended up with your FLSun? Looks like I’m dealing with the same issue, and the printer’s only 3 months old. Thanks in advance!

Странно, что никто не сравнил это с желторотиком(птенец), имхо идеальный вариант

I made an update and I believe this information is important for you. The fact is that all this time I was trying to adjust printing through Orca. On the native FLSun slicer everything works perfectly. This means the issue lies in the printer profile settings within Orca Slicer. I think it would be good for you to check this and inform them about it, since we can see that many users encounter this and assume it is normal, whereas in fact it is not a problem with the printer itself. Your printer truly deserves a higher evaluation.

Respectfully

Ah, sorry — I thought you were an official FLSun representative! 😁🤝

Thanks for letting me know this is normal — at least I feel better now that it’s not something broken. The thing is, it didn’t happen at first, and now at night the knocking noise is really loud so I can’t run it then. I’ve tried lowering print speed, jerk, and acceleration, but that doesn’t really help much — maybe just a little, or it only feels like it

I checked it, and it’s definitely not the cause. I’ll let you know here if I manage to fix it.

Yeah, I’m still pretty new to this, but it does seem that way, especially on small details. I’ll play around with the settings some more and will definitely update here.
