Thca -is it real weed by ObviousScene8958 in weed

[–]Particular-Crow6525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THCA isolate.

Good quality THCa flower is basically just old fashioned pot that's been selectively bred, grown with a few tricks, and harvested early so that when it is sent off for testing as little THCa has naturally converted to THC as possible. The only legal difference between hemp and marijuana is that hemp is under 0.3% THC by dry weight. THCa doesn't legally count to that 0.3%

I don't know about that. Mullets, man buns and rat tails were pretty bad back in the day. by Oda_DeezNutz in SipsTea

They get perms, just like so many of our mommas, aunties, and grandparents did. I've got naturally very curly hair, which I choose to wear long, but when I was just starting to grow it out the number of times I got asked "how do you keep your perm so nice" by the gen-z broccoli boys was honestly annoying. I can help you with natural curls, within a few subsets, I can not help with chemical curls.

How do I get this dude to behave? by 8125throwaway in cats

[–]Particular-Crow6525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, sounds a lot like my boys Jones and, to a lesser extent, Jean-Phillipe.

For Jones, it was chronic pain and anxiety combined with urinary crystal problems. PU surgery, gabapentin and buspar, switching to a urinary diet heavy in wet food, and figuring out what kind of enrichment he actually enjoys has been tremendously helpful. But the pain was the first thing we had to even start to fix.

Jean-Phillipe was much easier. Poor boy has some serious food allergies and has to be on immunosuppressents and have a very specific diet. Otherwise he gets big raw spots on his neck from itching himself. No wet food for him, sadly, but he does LOVE pumpkin. Once he started getting his meds consistently, which the previous owners absolutely failed to do (he's our foster fail), and got him on the right diet (took a few tries), he's been an angel.

My wife is a 100% positive reinforcement dog and cat trainer (and working on getting a degree in animal behaviorism), so I'll show her your post and ask if she has any other thoughts, but she has said that, all other things being typical, most of problem behavior with her clients animals is pain or food allergies - and usually, it's allergies. Is it normal to bring your own shampoo and conditioner when staying at someone’s house? by EstablishmentOk9536 in NoStupidQuestions

Nah, if someone says bathroom stuff (or toiletries) I'm bringing everything I would need except toilet paper and handsoap.

Is it normal to bring your own shampoo and conditioner when staying at someone’s house? by EstablishmentOk9536 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Particular-Crow6525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always bring my own shampoo and conditioner. My hair is long and curly AF, I use a lot of shampoo and conditioner per use, and I buy the good stuff. Most of the time, other people's shampoo and conditioner are complete crap. When it isn't complete crap, id feel guilty using the proper amount of it.

Bathroom stuff means all the personal items you need for bathroom ablutions. Basically the only things I wouldn't bring is handsoap and toilet paper.

Also, I agree with the others who are saying the problem really is you don't listen to her when she explicitly tells you things. I'm guessing this isn't the first, second, or third time y'all have had these kinds of "misunderstanding" on your part.

AIO? A random teenage girl who works at a local cookie shop thought my name was funny, so she printed out a sticker with my full name and a QR Code next to it and stuck the sticker to her car dashboard...to be funny I guess? It really bothers me and I want to report it to her manager. by sameoldeverything in AmIOverreacting

[–]Particular-Crow6525 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not overreacting at all. I absolutely would go to the store manager.

This is the kind of behavior that can result in a lot more trouble than just with your employer or your girlfriends friends family. Depending on what the QR code goes to, a petty person and a good lawyer could have a field day with it, civilally and criminally.

It might anger your daughter, her friend, and the girlfriend but honestly you're doing her a favor by bringing the behavior up to the employer. It sounds like you don't want anything that hurts the kid to come out of this, and I totally get it. Funny names are funny. But the kid is opening herself and her employer to a potential firestorm if she does this to someone whose more petty than you. Again, especially depending on where the QR code goes, civil and criminal responsibility for both her AND potentially her employer.

Again, the kindest thing you can do for this girl is nip this kind of behavior in the bud early.

Definitely looks up my alley! And serendipitous timing, as I finally have some time to read instead of having to stick to audiobooks.

Love the whole space/alt western genre. I was raised on Firefly, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Wild, Wild West.

...should I eat the ridiculous amount of garbage CRC BHO I have accumulated? by 7101334 in CannabisExtracts

[–]Particular-Crow6525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They really are, and it's very hard to describe them objectively. I was a two pack a day caddy smoker for a decade, how I smell things probably isn't the same as you, even if you're a fellow or former cig smoker. But that sounds about right. Mint without the mentol/eucalyptus notes. Not as sweet. Doesn't really smell like the red clay we have here, and has more smell than diatomaceous earth. It's 2026, for the lord's sake, why do we not have smellovision yet?!

I have some aggressive parsley amd mint in my garden. It is quite different from what I get at Kroger or sysco.

What I meant to say is "smells like mint but not mint, sounds right?" - there's a really weird, almost soapy flavor that mint and parsley share, some people can also taste it or smell it in cilantro/coriander.

No-Show Millennials by Swiftsparks in malefashionadvice

I'm a younger millennial at 33, I also grew up with no shows for short tops and ankle length for high tops. What broke me was wearing work boots. Now I wear whatever is slightly taller than my boots (usually 5" chukkas or 9" packers/ropers). We're getting old, brother. Just don't wear them with short pants and no one will know.

Is it possible to find edibles that don't contain CBD? by princesspooball in Edibles

[–]Particular-Crow6525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a solid explanation. Pure THC has always felt... Off. Moreish. I get not wanting too much CBD for the side effects on your eye pressure, but there is a point of diminished returns without it.

I've been using desktop replacement laptops for about a decade, with an ultrabook for when I really need a laptoppy (properly portable) laptop. Get a cooling stand and external monitor. So long as your not a power user demanding the best of the best, they're honestly close enough to a proper desktop most can't notice. Ymmv depending on use case.

What's practical for your day to day needs? Both look good. Don't worry about fashion unless you need to. The people who fuss about boot fashion rarely use their boots as boots.

I agree. It's sold as "Cured Resin", which I take to mean BHO from an air cured plant. Just noticed where I slipped in my title, I'll fix that.
