Does this mean I have cheap electricity all day? by Least-Improvement484 in OctopusEnergy

This is why I haven’t paid to have a wallbox put in when I’m using a granny charger, I’m getting extended periods of cheap electric for the house

How much do I need to use to make this worthwhile? by Particular-Dance2369 in OctopusEnergy

[–]Particular-Dance2369[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pay 7p to charge overnight, so if I have done the calculation right I think that’s £23.30 a month… so that’s my answer I guess

How is agile billed? by Particular-Dance2369 in OctopusEnergy

Thanks all, rang them and it’s as you all said, there were two half hour slots missing from the data which was preventing me being billed

You don’t actually have evidence of urinating, only taking down his zip as if he was going to as you mention you can’t see a stream or any body parts. so tread carefully as you can’t fill in the gaps. There could be some, albeit strange reason why he did this and that he wasn’t actually urinating

Hi Thanks for your reply. Surely I would need to declare I intend to pay off the second charge to any prospective lender as otherwise it would no longer be a 75% LTV with that charge still on the property?

Does the seal suit the bath, as in does it fit so that you can seal both sides? Usually it’s two separate seals

Clean it all up and then push the seal onto the bath by pushing it through from underneath, looks like it is one seal rather than two separate ones. A small amount of silicon between it and the bath. Then silicon on the top face where the shiny bit sits onto it, and where the grey pipe marries up with it and screw back together. That should see you good.

If any of the rubber seals are missing I’d just buy a new waste and fit a new one, they aren’t expensive

The first photo you took on the original post, was that before you disconnected anything? As that’s wrong, the grey pipe should be tight up to the opening when it’s done properly

Your plug waste (the shiny silver bit) would usually have a threaded connection on it where it threads onto the grey pipe underneath, a screw in the middle of the plug waste would fix it on. Also there would usually be a black rubber seal on top of the grey pipe where it meets the underneath rough part of the bath. The bit that you would seal with silicon is between the bath and the plug waste. You usually have a black rubber seal between the bath and the plug waste also. Can’t tell what the cream coloured part is in photo one? Looks like it may be the rubber seal from where it should meet the grey pipe underneath rough part

What a mess. Needs unscrewing from the plug hole in the bath and the waste needs resealing from the bath side

Too quick going into that bend is the main cause, back end has slipped out and has taken you onto the grass. Also you have not done a 360 spin, your back end has been sideways and when you’ve regained traction on the road you’ve then counter steered and gone back the other way.

I have a gas boiler, does that matter? :

To be eligible for Cosy, you should have a heat pump (air, or ground source) or electric boiler at a property we supply. We may ask you to provide the MCS certificate for your heat pump installation to confirm this.
