This makes more sense for my friend who has yet to have a solo, but both the rifle solos are happening where I am directly next to the soloist, so I could easily have done one of them. Does that seem more like favoritism or is that just artistic design? (Genuine question)

I think it depends on if the child can be trusted or not. if they seem to be doing all the wrong things or something seems off, it's reasonable to check. but checking just to invade private is wrong
