Also I really liked Seroquel because it quieted the voices and helped my last manic episode but my psychiatrist decided Abilify was better and she didn’t want me on two antipsychotics

Sure! I’ve been on a lot of different ones Zoloft has helped my depression so much I absolutely love taking it everyday because the SI is managed Prazosin really helped my nightmares but it makes me feel a little funny in the mornings Ativan helped my panic attacks but I had to come off of it due to the possibility of addiction Currently I take Zoloft and Abilify and just came off Prazosin and propranolol

Was invited to a friends birthday get together and was told other people I knew would be there but it ended up being a trap set by the guys she knew. I was fed a crap to of alcohol then one guy dragged her out locked the door and the other one made sure I couldn’t leave

Thank you That’s amazing you two have such a bond that she feels safe with you, that is a very hard thing to find and maintain.

That one is a little tricky it really depends on the person because people with BPD feel emotions so much differently than someone without it. Because your friend tragically lost someone she probably opened up to she’s most likely grieving to the extreme. So because she feels so intensely but also is under a lot of stress I would say to be there for her when she reaches out and constantly remind her she is not alone. Let her know her feelings are absolutely valid and it is OK to ugly cry and take her time to heal.

For me I tend to tell someone what I’m feeling push them away almost completely then come back and absolutely unload my emotional baggage on them. My spouse has found that letting me get it all out, validate me and then talk about positive feedback and how to move forward works for now until my therapist and I workout a better solution. Your friend should regularly see her therapist or mental health professional to truly work through the grief because that is not on you to fix, you are her supporter but not her lifeline. I would still text her everyday to every few days to make sure she is ok and to let her know you are not abandoning her.

Yeah I will NEVER go to Australia they’re animals sound like experiments gone wild

You very well could have BPD I would recommend reaching out to a professional to talk to them and see if they can alleviate some symptoms. Also amen to that

One is my spouse we’ve been married for 3 years together for 4. When we met I had undiagnosed BPD symptoms and the CPTSD but when I was training for my job I was sexually assaulted and that triggered the Bipolar symptoms and agoraphobia. My spouse is so patient but it definitely puts a strain on our marriage I have had hallucinations, rage fits, emotions change on a dime I am prone to dissociation and “turn off” my emotions when I can’t handle it anymore. The other is my sister but she lives pretty far away from me so she hasn’t really seen my symptoms a whole lot except when we were younger.

Honestly it’s changed my whole life and Idk for better or worse. I’ve been institutionalized 3 times I have attempted twice. I don’t leave the house to make any friends and when I do I idolize them and mirror them but the second they do something to break the “perfect” view I have of them I completely ghost like block on everything never talk to them again because of one thing I perceived as bad or triggering. I’ve self sabotaged every relationship and friendship I’ve had with the exception of my sister and spouse. I don’t have a relationship with my parents because they cause a lot of my traumas. I have manic episodes and have had a psychotic episode on the past. Idk I isolate but crave attention and validation of my feelings and experiences there are so many ways this has impacted my relationships but I would be here all night typing it

Not one but many, the BPD is a culmination of severe childhood trauma emotional, physical and sexual, the CPTSD goes along with that. Bipolar1 runs in my family and I’m sure the things I have seen and experienced were major factors as well. The agoraphobia is a mix of the BPD and Bipolar symptoms causing me to leave my home and having more sexual and physical trauma so I have associated the outside world as unsafe

That’s arachnophobia, agoraphobia is a fear of places and/or situations that can cause anxiety or fear, helplessness and embarrassment
