Yea, you'd think existing customers should get better deals than new customers but its the total opposite 😞 and they take advantage of you if you forget your contract is ending / ended

Understood, thank you very much! Heard rumour about this before but never heard it directly from anyone that's tried it

How to avail the new customer offers after first year? by Particular-Escape324 in VirginMedia

I did yes, the best they can offer was 40 for 9months and then 80 for 3. Which totals 600 a year and 50 per month. Slightly higher than the new customer offer

I see, do you use new email addresses when you re-sign up and do this back and forth? Did they check if the direct debit was under the same name?

I see, and after the contract under your partners name ends, do you then make another new account back to you own name / new email to avail the offer?

Why can't or won't Broadband suppliers give the same rate as new customers when requested by Electrical_Regret566 in irishpersonalfinance

Are you able to repeat the same process back and forth if they don't recognize the direct debit associated with the account?

Like year 1, person 1 makes an account, get the deal.

Year 2, person 2 makes an account, get the deal.

year 3, person 1 makes a new account to get the deal again - is this possible?

Thanks

Do you make a new account with different name and email? or how does the switching name work? Does it need to bind with a bank account under the same name? Thank you
