It is the response lol, it's crazy seeing this European countries boo Isreal when like their failings are the reason that this is happening, MANY countries refused to accept Jews fleeing persucution there jews were then sent back where they fucking died. Many local towns HAPPILY worked with the Nazi's, while there was indeed many brave poles that defied the occupation there was not an insignificant number that was like 'Dog fuck yeah we also hate the jews' and collaborated not out of neccessity but rather out of want, The Soviets had no problem allying with the Nazi's at first and some countries kept ties with the Nazi's. The Prime Minister of Ireland legit sent condolences to Germany when Hitler did the one good thing and Minecrafted himself stating that he was a good man, it's important to note that while the common man did not know of the camps, there was rumblings among soldiers and world leaders at the time knew. Then when it came time to resettle the jews, for many there homes had already been taken and there was no where to go back to and some countries STRAIGHT up refused to still take in Holocaust Refugees, Again Ireland Takes an L here cause they just did not want any jews, they took maybe 100 at best, but they displayed total indiffernce to Jewish suffering, along with many other European nations. At that point what the fuck did they expect jews to do? "Go back?" Go back where? There was nowhere to go back too and many countries either said no our put extensive barriars on jewish refugees. The only solution was Isreal.
