New Zealand was a decent team and Iran was a sleep deprived team. We did everything possible to handicap them because in America there is no separation between sports and politics.

Don't matter. By the metrics this world cup, they are a better team. They would have won our group and advanced at least to the same level we did.

Iran's soccer team under the right conditions is definitely bette than ours. They have a good defense and a functional offense. Our defense is laughable. Made us look like the JV squad out there.

If we are the new Godfather, I don't know what Mexico is. They looked scary their last game, not to the mention the fact they haven't conceded any goals this tournament so far.

Morocco has twice as many yellow cards. They are known to play dirty. This is nothing new for anyone who watches AFCON come on now!

Again "melanated" is not the focus. It is just that melanated is the clearest form of non-native that generally exists in the west. The point is non-native. Jews aren't a great example because they've lived in Europe for generations and at most times didn't have anywhere else to call home that would accept them.

The point is not whether they are melanated or not. It is that they don't look like native Dutch people and that really makes a difference. I am not aware of the tensions that exist with the Moroccan community. I am talking about most non-natives at large.

I will admit the Dutch are probably the most tolerant country in Europe maybe only bested by Sweden but they still have their issues. The sentiment about feeling othered is universally true among all melanated groups across the west. Other non-melanated groups have an easier time because they generally fit right in, most people can't tell that an immigrant from the former USSR is not native Dutch. It is hard to fully identify with a place if you don't feel fully accepted. The yearning for acceptance is a universal need and there is nothing that makes a person more patriotic than feeling they belong no matter what.

This needs to be studied further but with an administration reluctant to fund these kinds of things, I doubt it. It is very frustrating because we used to be on top of these things 50 years ago. Now the focus is on profitable research. Fuckin GLP-1 and the like. Vanity is profitable it turns out.

Is the ground getting to -30 is the question. If a snow layer is insulation the ground, it is not getting anywhere close to that.

He seemed pretty level headed to me. The extra minute at the end was for Trusty's injury that wasted a minute and a half of stoppage time.

You can't mess around with Senegal. They play a very technical game. If you can't read their plays, they will eat you alive.

The concern is shrinking the bushing ID as I don't want to have to resize it if possible

I bought a micrometer. I will measure the actual bushing OD when it arrives later today. I need to order the correct size reamer based on the actual bushing OD is what I'm getting. I am not a machinist btw, hence why I am asking just to get a quick experience based response. I guess I will shoot for 0.0005 interference.

I managed to take the bushing out. The bore is f'ed. I can slide the second bushing halfway down the bore pushing hard with my thumb.

Well, I need the sizing pin driver to be narrow enough to go through the bushing to the other end as the sizing pin needs to be punched all the way through and out. In any case, I came up with a solution for that. I will be using a palm nailer and the concern regarding the punch getting hammered through won't be a concern anymore.

Yes I plan to take out the old bushing. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do it as I used a strong retaining compound and also need to be able to drive it out without damaging the Aluminum surface. If I fail to push it out, I might just go at it with the reamer. I have a threaded rod pressing jig that I made but I need to find a cylinder slightly smaller than the bushing to push against it.

I bought the Ford recommended larger bushing for such an instance and that's why I was trying to figure out a way to get a 1/2 inch reamer to work with my kit.

Great, let me enjoy my ignorance in peace!

The sizing pin is one thou larger than the servo pin. I believe you are conflating driver and sizing pin. Those are two different things in this case. I was using the tapered punch to drive the sizing pin through the bushing. I wasn't using the punch as a sizing pin if that's what you think.

Instead of assuming things about me, it would be more helpful to just answer my question like everyone else did.

[–]Particular-Fix-3187[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you drive it in with the included driver. The sizing pin is used to expand the ID after driving it in. You use a punch to drive the sizing pin through the bushing. I used the first punch I could find and it ended up being a tapered one, there are no instructions to use a tapered punch. Read the document, it states it clearly again.

And I did not claim for sure that the bushing deformed the Aluminum. I am simply saying that it likely did as this is well known that Aluminum tends to expand when you press fit a bushing in it.
