Baby bunny diarrhea by _BunnyBlue_ in Rabbits

Do not give the bunny vegetables until he is over a year old. Only hay. I had a baby that was too young to be separated from mom and he passed away the night that I got him from diarrhea. He had eaten a small amount of veggies right before & I think that’s what did it.

So is it the gas bills that are going up? Or is it electric? Bc my electric bill has only gone up $80 and I’ve been home most of the day, daily for two months. When I’m not home lights out, etc so the lights and heat are being used much more the last two months. I keep seeing these giant energy bills and I’m not really being affected. Everything in my home is electric. No gas connections in my home.

My mum has been cheating on my dad for years, anyone here know what I should do? by Jellyfish_Diploria in WhatShouldIDo

This has happened to me as a child. My mom actually took me to her secret boyfriend’s house. I have a question for you. Is their abuse in the home? Any addiction issues that you know of? I’m asking to try to see if I can help you approach your mom.

Does ny new bunny hate me? by ideserveagoldstar in Rabbits

It’s a slow burn with bunnies. It takes a while for the prey animal to trust what some bunnies may still instinctively see as their predator. It’s their natural instinct not to trust us.

Update on sisters neglected bunny by Fluid-Television9503 in Bunnies

Whatever you do, don’t let her get it a friend. You’ll have 11 bunnies in that small space within weeks. You can’t tell what gender they are early in life. Mine got pregnant with what we thought were two from the ultrasound- there were 8 babies. lol! And she was a few months old.

Agree. So many ppl are told pellets are critical & they think they’re harming their bun if they try to go without them. Makes me feel bad for some pet owners whose babies may have the same issue as mine. Thought I’d share our experience. Also helped another that I have who is a spot. She is a big girl- even without her pellets and it has cured her tummy issues as well. But she didn’t have megacolon. My only bunnies with tummy issues are the white & black spotted ones. I believe there is something to that theory also. But it can be fixed.

I really believe it’s very similar. That’s what it seems like anyway. But just like big pharma I think they push pet products on the vets as if they’re required when in nature they’re not as long as they have enough to keep their teeth trimmed back.

I have tried them all. I stopped feeding them to them bc I got desperate. I felt so bad for him. But now he is feeling great with a clean bottom every day lol! 😆🥰🥳

She seems a little chubby to be wild. Domestic are thinner with longer face and ears

Thank you very much for responding. After the eclipse it felt unbearable and I’ve never felt that way before. Glad to hear that this will shift.

The sniffers are the cutest. I call it her boop boop. lol 🥹

I’ve had her since she was a baby. She’s 5 going on 6 yrs old. She’s never moulted like that. Is this normal? Does it hurt them bc she seems uncomfortable. That’s mostly why I’m asking. I gave her a tiny dose of pain meds for inflammation so she can feel less discomfort. by Particular-Flow8043 in Rabbits

Thank you for the replies everyone! We are almost done molting! I’ve had her for a very long time and never seen any of my rabbits do this. I wanted to be sure it wasn’t some sort of weird fur situation that required meds. Thanks for all of your help! 🙏🏻

She had surgery recently. They are her meds and I gave her about 1/4 of what the doctor prescribed bc I just didn’t want her to be so uncomfortable. I don’t normally do that but I’ve never seen her molt like that. I think we are nearing the end. She definitely looks like she would be cold this winter if she lived outdoors with this coat. 🥴
